If this is what "imaginary radio" is like every week I'm going to be a full time listener
Sun. 10/27/13 3:57am that diabetic guy:

4am and this cold of mine won't quit:-(
Avatar Sun. 10/27/13 4:05am Eyepatch Fox:

Closest I've been to Hell: voluntary cold turkey morphine withdrawal while afflicted with Lyme Disease and subsequent brain swelling.
Sun. 10/27/13 4:06am that diabetic guy:

One hot day in 2009 my blood sugar topped at 600 I collapsed on the sidewalk and woke up two days later in a hospital bed
Avatar Sun. 10/27/13 4:07am Eyepatch Fox:

Or, maybe driving from NJ to Virginia with the aunt who consistently drives 10 miles under the speed limit and prefers not to listen to music in the car, but instead likes Catholic talk radio. That might be closer to Hell, actually.
Sun. 10/27/13 4:11am that diabetic guy:

The hospital took the liberty of inserting a catheter into my peepee. It wasn't fun waking up to that I can tell you
Avatar    Sun. 10/27/13 4:14am Ken From Hyde Park:

Two words: kidney stone.
Sun. 10/27/13 4:16am that diabetic guy:

How about. Involuntary prostate exam
Avatar    Sun. 10/27/13 4:17am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

KenfHP: - like giving birth to a rock thru the tube from kidney to bladder. Worst part maybe - having no idea what it was - being sure it was it was a kidney infection & if it felt like that I was sure to die.
Avatar    Sun. 10/27/13 4:18am osvi:

Snivlem...
Avatar Sun. 10/27/13 4:18am Eyepatch Fox:

Good gawd, that happened to me, too. Rushed to the hospital. I had to get sonic blasted to remove it. Seems I don't drink enough water and too much tea.
Avatar    Sun. 10/27/13 4:18am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...it's the 4A.M. misery chat !
Avatar    Sun. 10/27/13 4:19am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- sonic blasted - no fun I understand...
Sun. 10/27/13 4:20am that diabetic guy:

Doesn't even come close to falling on the ice back in jan 2011 and breaking my ankle
Sun. 10/27/13 4:21am that diabetic guy:

In a cast for 3 months
Avatar    Sun. 10/27/13 4:23am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...if someone had simply said - you'll pee it out before too long, & when the tube kidney to bladder squeezes on it it will hurt like nothing else & you will be crazy nauseous - & when not you will feel fine - that would have made all the difference...not real impressed w/ hospitals & professionals so far...
...People fall on ice & people laugh - wtf - ?!?!
Sun. 10/27/13 4:23am that diabetic guy:

I took so much Tylenol with codeine I was higher than the space station
  Sun. 10/27/13 4:25am map:

i!i!
Sun. 10/27/13 4:25am that diabetic guy:

You cannot imagine how it was getting around with a broken ankle in a cast for 3 months. Worrying it wasn't going to heal because of diabetes
Sun. 10/27/13 4:27am that diabetic guy:

The miracle was I didn't turn into a drug addict on the codeine with all I took
Avatar    Sun. 10/27/13 4:28am KP:

Anyone who took 6 pills a day for three months? Is in drug rehab
I escaped it, I don't know how.
Avatar Sun. 10/27/13 4:34am Eyepatch Fox:

I'd had a Vicodin script for three years and was fine.
Avatar    Sun. 10/27/13 4:34am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- folks, my plan has been to move up $15/month for FMU, but I turned out poorer than I thot this week. I'm gonna do that whether the fundraiser is over or not, & no matter how annoyed by the shaming process I get ( - or not). 'til then - I'm Heartless for Halloween...
Avatar    Sun. 10/27/13 4:35am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- & Sincere Thanx to those w/ ♡s for the Common Good.
Avatar Sun. 10/27/13 4:37am Eyepatch Fox:

aaaaand those high octane opiate patches.... and slow release morphine pills... not everyone has the same chemistry.
Avatar    Sun. 10/27/13 4:39am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- I think they like prescribing vicodin because they know it irritates your stomach & doesn't last long...what w/ the problems w/ prescription opiates & things, there is pressure now to change restrictions...
- I heard Godzilla ! : )
Sun. 10/27/13 4:40am that diabetic guy:

I had 7 stitches out into my tongue. I was trying to eat peas with a knife like on the three stooges and I put a 1 inch slice into my tongue.
Avatar    Sun. 10/27/13 4:41am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- station manager Ken F. says he's opiate tolerant...
Avatar    Sun. 10/27/13 4:42am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...just naturally - a bitch if you need pain relief !...
Sun. 10/27/13 4:43am that diabetic guy:

7 whole days I had to eat through a straw
Avatar    Sun. 10/27/13 4:45am KP:

NP, Chris.
Avatar Sun. 10/27/13 4:49am Eyepatch Fox:

Everyone is different. Vicodin I have little issue with, while percocet makes me very nauseated. There are slow release versions of most of these pills, so it isn't always the case that it doesn't last long.
Avatar Sun. 10/27/13 4:53am Eyepatch Fox:

I have a very high tolerance for opiates, too. Mostly because I'm in significant chronic pain. I take opiates and perk up. I tend to use pain killers so that I can have a clean kitchen, or maybe do some exercises, or maybe be social out in the world with people.
Avatar    Sun. 10/27/13 4:54am Jay/London:

Morning KP storm on its way here
Avatar Sun. 10/27/13 4:55am Eyepatch Fox:

It's a shame that the same pills that help people in pain are the ones that are over prescribed to drug-seekers and turn people into pill-junkies.
Avatar Sun. 10/27/13 5:00am Eyepatch Fox:

There's the voice! :D Hiii!!!
Avatar Sun. 10/27/13 5:05am Eyepatch Fox:

Man, my roommate came home wasted, ranted for a while, passed out in his bedroom, then woke up suddenly and crashed his way back to the bathroom, covered it with urine, and then passed out on the couch. Two hours later,I'm hiding in my bedroom, wondering what his sudden stompy walking all over the apartment is about.
Avatar    Sun. 10/27/13 5:07am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...gotta love these early A.M. soul-baring sessions...
- love that great early Alice!...
Avatar Sun. 10/27/13 5:25am Eyepatch Fox:
