  Mon. 10/7/13 12:19pm Captain Hate:

  Mon. 10/7/13 12:36pm Captain Hate:

Yes I think there are a couple Shepp/Parlan duets on Steeplechase.
Avatar Mon. 10/7/13 12:44pm Jeff Golick:

Yes, @Captain Hate, just got a note about that app fix this morning. You were experiencing glitches?
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Mon. 10/7/13 12:45pm Brian in UK:

Arternoon gents, this is a severe test with Donna on the flip. Might have to archive you especially with that revolting cove at the top of the page.
Avatar Mon. 10/7/13 12:45pm Jeff Golick:

@duke: AGREED.
Avatar Mon. 10/7/13 12:48pm Jeff Golick:

Thanks so much, duke!
Avatar Mon. 10/7/13 12:50pm Jeff Golick:

@Brian/UK: not a fan of US national treasure Mr. Rogers?
  Mon. 10/7/13 12:53pm Captain Hate:

Jeff, yes but only some of the time. It was coming in great on my ear buds two weeks ago walking down the boardwalk in Ocean City, Maryland. Other times not so well.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Mon. 10/7/13 12:53pm Brian in UK:

Not an endearing graphics interchange format, one has to say.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Mon. 10/7/13 12:58pm pacific standard simon:

Hello, Jeffs -- I'm only sort-of here for this. Family matters, and then work in an hour. Listening when I can.

Avatar    Mon. 10/7/13 1:39pm hyde:

I saw Fred Rogers live in like 1969. He did not make those gestures, I don't think.
Avatar    Mon. 10/7/13 1:40pm hyde:

@ljfw yikes, good luck with that...
Avatar Mon. 10/7/13 1:41pm Doug Schulkind:

I've heard from people here in Pittsburgh who knew him that Fred Rogers was off camera, the same gentle soul we all saw on camera. Also that his wife cursed like a sailor.
Avatar Mon. 10/7/13 1:42pm Jeff Golick:

Stay safe & good luck, listener james!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Mon. 10/7/13 1:42pm pacific standard simon:

HO-HO-HO... we say "HO-HO" to these tornadoes!

Gotta go now, too. And miss next week totally -- I'll be on a plane from OAK to SEA at this time next week. Enjoy the show, everybody!
Avatar Mon. 10/7/13 1:46pm Doug Schulkind:

Remember when that tornado passed between those twin apartment towers in Fort Lee, NJ. I do, though it's possible I'm making the whole thing up.
Avatar Mon. 10/7/13 1:48pm Jeff Golick:

Doug: you were there! And you! And you were there, too!
Avatar Mon. 10/7/13 1:54pm glenn:

by the way, if anybody's interested in the latest crazy antics of r. ford, crack huffin' toronto mayor, apparently our city's finest have been conducting aerial surveillance on him for the past 2 or 3 months.
Avatar Mon. 10/7/13 1:54pm Doug Schulkind:

I missed the Park Slope tornado. Made me so damn homesick watching the coverage from Pittsburgh.
Avatar Mon. 10/7/13 1:57pm glenn:

covert aerial surveillance.
Avatar Mon. 10/7/13 1:58pm Jeff Golick:

Crazy, @glenn. 'Course, here in the States, we call that kind of thing "Monday."
Avatar Mon. 10/7/13 2:06pm Jeff Golick:

As noted on air: HUGE THANKS TO LISTENER CHRISTOPHER H of Massachusetts for moving the needle on the pledge-o-meter!
Avatar    Mon. 10/7/13 2:26pm duke:
