Avatar Mon. 9/16/13 9:28am Liz Berg:

The moon was lovely this weekend. My friend's 2-year-old couldn't stop pointing and proclaiming "MOON! MOON!" over and over again Friday evening. Even he knew something special was going on.
Avatar Mon. 9/16/13 9:32am doca:

what happened with the moon this weekend? i know the transit of venus happened the other weekend
Avatar Mon. 9/16/13 9:33am Liz Berg:

Avatar Mon. 9/16/13 9:43am Liz Berg:

There was a lovely half-moon that showed its face in the daytime this weekend, doca.
Avatar Mon. 9/16/13 9:55am thedunkel:

great set this morning!
Avatar Mon. 9/16/13 9:56am doca:

oh i love when the moon shows up during the day.
Avatar Mon. 9/16/13 9:59am doca:

once i read a vespucci account of one of his travels to america in early sixteenth century and he says that the ship crew was terrified when they unexpectedly saw the moon during the day after crossing the equator and thought it was a bad omen. since i read this i wondered if the moon doesn't show up during the day in northern hemisphere. it seems it gladly does.
Avatar Mon. 9/16/13 10:01am Whosondephone:

I always get very excited when Liz plays chiptunes!
Avatar Mon. 9/16/13 10:05am common:

EFD's Premium is really good.
Avatar Mon. 9/16/13 10:41am tim from champaign:

Great set, Liz! I'm really digging this Cavern of Anti-Matter. It sounds like if Stereolab started in 1981 instead of 1991.
Avatar Mon. 9/16/13 10:42am Liz Berg:

Yeah Tim, the Cavern of Anti-Matter is like a more krauty version of Stereolab. This long jam is awesome!
Avatar Mon. 9/16/13 10:49am efd:

:D
Avatar Mon. 9/16/13 10:49am tim from champaign:

Ah-hah! No wonder I got a Stereolab vibe.
Avatar Mon. 9/16/13 10:54am tim from champaign:

Maybe Liz Berg-er singles. Sorry.
  Mon. 9/16/13 10:56am creepy:

Ha ha, I ain't no Pandora, that's for sure. Not everyone can accept it.
Avatar Mon. 9/16/13 11:06am tim from champaign:

Get out of town, Creepy! Liz's stop sets are full of good information. Liz don't talk too long at all.
Avatar Mon. 9/16/13 11:09am efd:

When you play 11 (ELEVEN!) songs in a row WITHOUT TALKING you kind of have to talk for a bit to tell people about those songs.
Avatar Mon. 9/16/13 11:12am Lucas:

cant agree with you Creepy
Avatar Mon. 9/16/13 11:12am Lucas:

Hi Liz and listeners
Avatar Mon. 9/16/13 11:13am Mike East:

saying things like "nothing personal" and "just sayin'" are more offensive than saying "no offense." (imo)
Avatar Mon. 9/16/13 11:15am northguineahills:

Heya Liz. Awaiting the sweet freedom of the Death Ray!
  Mon. 9/16/13 11:36am Lou:

this is not unlike big black "texas" which came first i think
Avatar Mon. 9/16/13 11:37am Liz Berg:

My old college station had a pre-recorded ID that had an old soundbyte from a sci-fi movie about death rays... the ID then said "KDVS: pure uninhibited radio death ray." So uh, death rays have a special place in my heart.
Avatar Mon. 9/16/13 11:37am Rev. Turnip Druid:

the classics still hold up, and will survive long after the cronuts have faded from the earth. Behold the mighty carrot cake.
Avatar Mon. 9/16/13 11:39am still b/p:

Be eatin' > beholdin'.
