I've been put in byzantine phone & email labyrinths trying to figure out when to go to court for "trespassing" on July 4th when everyone went on the roof to watch the fireworks (some peeps were shooting roman candles, so was everyone else in the hood). Now, my summons, was rendered illegible (being a carbon copy) after I folded it in my wallet. No one knows when my court date is supposed to occur, so, I'm taking a half day next week to go to court to figure this out.

Can't risk having a warrant for my arrest over a $75 trespassing charge. Even though there was a wooden deck w/ bbqs on the roof, and I was invited. I was informed that landlords need permits to allow residents rooftop access. It was just a stop and frisk. I called in last week and didn't talk, just made sounds, and it went well....
  Wed. 8/7/13 3:31pm Bliss:

@Kenzo
What happens if someone calls and says "shit".
Avatar Wed. 8/7/13 3:32pm kat330:

Yeah, I believe everyone else who called was on air.
Avatar Wed. 8/7/13 3:34pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

perfect......organism....
Avatar Wed. 8/7/13 3:34pm kat330:

What I said—and repeated—into the answered phone was the same thing I typed on the playlist a couple of times. It was not in the mix though.
Avatar Wed. 8/7/13 3:35pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

ma bell has all our dimes, the bastards
  Wed. 8/7/13 3:36pm Bliss:

in a pile
Avatar Wed. 8/7/13 3:36pm kat330:

Well, I don't think it was Ma Bell who answered.
Avatar Wed. 8/7/13 3:37pm kat330:

I heard the 'cast and all sorts of machinery sounds, so I'm sure I had the right place. Do you have a robot answering system?
Avatar Wed. 8/7/13 3:38pm kat330:

St. Matthew Passion, yes!
  Wed. 8/7/13 3:39pm Bliss:

Nassim Taleb's worth checking out.
Avatar Wed. 8/7/13 3:39pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

no, just straight on the air, but i don't make the machines. 434-971-8678
Avatar Wed. 8/7/13 3:41pm kat330:

Well, if it was Ma Bell insinuating her bad self, then I guess that puts the kibosh on ever calling. C'est domage.
  Wed. 8/7/13 3:41pm Bliss:

Imagine hearing a Bach composition in a church--no electricity, horses tied up outside, breeze blowing through the open windows, dinner later at the tavern..by candlelight.
Avatar Wed. 8/7/13 3:42pm kat330:

Isn't everyone *over* Zoe D. yet?? Really annoying, cloying persona.
Avatar Wed. 8/7/13 3:42pm Doug Schulkind:

Been lurking and zoning (in and out). Gotta go run out and collect our farmshare box. Have a great last-ever 18 minutes of the show, Kenzo!
Avatar Wed. 8/7/13 3:43pm kat330:

@Bliss: Mmmm, yes, I can. I sang the St. Matthew and many other Bach opuses in one of the finest acoustical sites of all: Harvard Memorial Church, and also some other smaller chapel (whose name escapes me) on the campus.
  Wed. 8/7/13 3:45pm Bliss:

Nice.
Avatar Wed. 8/7/13 3:49pm northguineahills:

The Phoenix house was not far from where I would hit brunch once a month in college, in Melrose, FL. Joaquin came to one of our parties in G-ville in '99 right before Gladiator came out. How he found out about, we had no idea. (I didn't know who he was at the time, until some asked, 'Joaquin, like Phoenix'? [only so much happens in FL])
Avatar Wed. 8/7/13 3:49pm kat330:

Guess you can't see Indiana?
Avatar Wed. 8/7/13 3:51pm Rich in Washington:

Someone here at work brought an industrial strength snow cone maker. I am having a cherry one but wish I had brought some Tanqueray or tequila to work today.
Avatar Wed. 8/7/13 3:52pm kat330:

Well, moi moi, folks. Kiitos, Kenzo!
Avatar Wed. 8/7/13 3:52pm northguineahills:
