Someone I know saw him in person somewhere a few years ago and said it was shocking how spray-tan orange hie skin was.

I don't know if men of any age should be wearing spandex, Mike East.

Mailman Tom:

I got rid of satellite and cable TV 20 years ago, so I never watched a single episode of The Sopranos!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:06pm
Mike East:

I've only seen a couple episodes of the Sopranos and I've recently been thinking about burning through the whole series on DVD's. I suppose now's a good time to do that. I liked James Gandolfini in other movies I've seen him in. He was particularly menacing in "True Romance" one of my favorite films of all time.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:07pm
Dominick:

Velvets to Sir Doug - beautiful!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:08pm
Doug Schulkind:

Me and the ol' ball-and-chain have been rewatching the Sopranos. Just started Season 4. We keep remarking out loud to ourselves how ridiculously well the series holds up.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:09pm
Matt F:

Mike East, I can't recommend it more. Not every episode is a killer but it sustained a high level of quality for a long run. Great, disturbing and multilayered storytelling.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:10pm
Uncle Michael:

I feel about ZZ Top the way some FMU'ers feel about AC/DC. Yum.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:11pm
Dominick:

Another yea here for Sopranos and thanks Mr. G
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:15pm
pacific standard simon:

I'm with Uncle on ZZ (up until about '81, anyway) -- amazing how well they sit next to Mudhoney.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:16pm
pacific standard simon:

I used to call up DJs and try to trick them into playing this song.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:16pm
Mike East:

all right! I'm officially really looking forward to several months of binge watching the Sopranos.
  3:16pm
jH:

J.Gandalfini's performance in ' In the Loop' was short but very, very sweet.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:17pm
Matt F:

I've even grown to like Eliminator, despide the 80's cocaine drum machine sheen.
  3:17pm
Kristin:

I have never watched the Sopranos ever. But based on the discussion of you lovely people I think I'll start.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:17pm
Matt F:

JH- Agreed! That was a criminally overlooked movie.
Avatar 3:18pm
Joe non Papa:

Gandolfini's last appearance on TV was probably "Nicky Deuce" on Nickelodeon. Yes, Nickelodeon. It also had Tony Sirico, Steve Schirripa, and Michael Imperioli, all from the Sopranos cast.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:19pm
Matt F:

Kristin!
  3:21pm
Kristin:

Matt!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:23pm
Uncle Michael:

Gotta head to the doc now...take care everyone. Great show, Matt...see you all tomorrow.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:35pm
pacific standard simon:

Oh yeah.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:38pm
pacific standard simon:

This Dics mix is what the mix on the remixed Raw Power should have sounded like.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:39pm
pacific standard simon:

If that makes any sense.
Avatar 3:40pm
fleep:

Stock market: really down.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:40pm
Matt F:

Makes perfect sense, PSS. I love the original fucked up mix on the Raw Power LP, but I'd love it if someone did it right someday.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:42pm
pacific standard simon:

Me too, on both counts.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:50pm
