@trsh: Gracias. The no-vocals thing isn't conscious. It dawned on me one day that I play very little music with vocals. That just happens somehow. And I don't really plan the shows in advance, so whatever I grab in the hours before my show, that's what I play.

It could be ichiban. I moved to Verona way back when Vin Scelsa used to talk about te Claremont Diner. I lived in the Bronx. I bought a house in Verona, went to the Claremont with my wife when we closed. It burned down shortly after. And then again. 36 years later I still live in Verona (great little town; half way between NYC and Wisconsin I tell my wife) and listen to Scelsa on FUV Sat nights!

I remember seeing Fripp somewhere in New York a long time ago. His performance consisted of walking on stage, fiddling with his Frippertronics machines, then leaving the stage to let them play, then fiddling with the machines some more, then leaving the stage, and so forth.
