Holly: My first dog (as a kid) was a beagle with a bit of shepherd in him. My aged lab, Hershey ate a million pears from a tree (crapped incessantly) and gobbled up every cicada he could find, which is a lot in Indiana. Perhaps he was onto diet secrets of longevity.
