@Philo: totally still holds up. I've been laughing and cringing at the same spots I did when it originally aired. And discovering some new layers of perception too. I worked at a bookstore when it came out, so I got the Laura Palmer diary, the Fodors type tourist guide to the town of Twin Peaks as well as the Agent Cooper cassettes.

@sFrances I remember there was even a magazine dedicated to the mysteries of the show, Wrapped In Plastic, which I remember purchasing a few copies of. I think they did 30-40 issues of it total. I wasn't *that* into it, and my interest petered out by the time the second season was halfway through..... but it'd be interesting to see again. |

@Philo: today I came upon a car wrapped in plastic (& aluminum foil). Am working on the photos of it now. & yeah, by season2 you totally see Mark Frost's more supernatural influence & with David Duchovney in drag, it's interesting to see it as a precursor to X Files. I realized rewatching TP that it was where my interest in taxidermy began and now I have some of my own...(I also ended up moving to the PacNW/Portland,OR for 8 years)
