Avatar Tue. 1/8/13 1:44pm DDDJJJ666:

If you think the keyboard parts in this song sound like the film Ghost Dog looks, you're right! For there is a Jarmusch in this band.
Tue. 1/8/13 1:44pm Sir Lancelot Pratt:

sounds like I'm in for some art damaged post punk psychedelic space rock!
Avatar Tue. 1/8/13 1:45pm DDDJJJ666:

  Tue. 1/8/13 1:50pm Ricardo Montalban:

The mid-to-late 80s was the era to form clubs and societies.
Tue. 1/8/13 1:51pm Sir Lancelot Pratt:

em I think most people identity the term with about 1979-83 new wave and no wave bands of that era.
I think the term art-damaged is pretty new, say the last 3 years, but equally mostly applies to bands of that period who made their sounds flip out more than Talking Heads, PIL and Kraftwerk!
Avatar Tue. 1/8/13 1:51pm DDDJJJ666:

Simon Turner had a surgical procedure to have the Fisher inserted years later.
Avatar Tue. 1/8/13 1:51pm DDDJJJ666:

I never left the mid-80's.
Avatar Tue. 1/8/13 1:52pm DDDJJJ666:

Weren't Talking Heads square one for the usage of the term New Wave?
Avatar Tue. 1/8/13 1:53pm DDDJJJ666:

Listen to the keyboard parts and you'll figure it out. Hint: think Canadian, eh.
Avatar Tue. 1/8/13 1:53pm DDDJJJ666:

Think a thin dog, but younger.
Tue. 1/8/13 1:55pm Sir Lancelot Pratt:

you mean the first new wave band?
Yeh agree, although Joy Division's stuff was punk in attitude but new wave in sound, who came first?
Avatar Tue. 1/8/13 1:58pm DDDJJJ666:

Heads before Joy.
  Tue. 1/8/13 1:58pm BSI:

grrrrr. canadians don't say eh. get it, got it? good. nor do we say oot or aboot.
Tue. 1/8/13 2:08pm Sir Lancelot Pratt:
