I need to get me a copy of that Raz-Ma-Taz Poka.

this PLU+EP is great.
  3:19pm
still b/p:

Like to see an image by Evolution Control Committee to go with that mix and somehow reference the famous Whipped Cream album cover.

Like to see NY and NJ provocatively covered in whipped cream, too.
  3:19pm
Caryn:

Well, if you're going to base a track on a piece of classical music, you might as well pick a good one.
  3:21pm
BDR:

What's his problem? He thinks he's Ethel Merman. War is hell.
  3:21pm
Caryn:

Oh, Ethel...
  3:21pm
Caryn:

@BDR: nice!
  3:22pm
still b/p:

Now, Ethel in whipped cream would be too magically charged and stimulating to bear.
  3:26pm
Caryn:

@sb/p: so I take it you haven't seen the pics?
  3:26pm

Man, that was great! I'd better earn some more money so I can pledge more for this majestic awesomeness! It takes more than a hurricane!

Oh man, this whole Daryl Hall album is great. FRIPP!
  3:32pm

Wow! Where did you get this hall single?
  3:32pm
Cecile:

it is! cool.
  3:35pm
Caryn:

@sb/p: don't think so, but you never know. What with Joan Crawford's lesbian porn past, and Greta Garbo's topless pics around, I wouldn't be absolutely shocked if it turned out young Ethel had some unsavoury secrets.

MIke, I think the easiest way to do that would be to send a check with a note saying that you're paying for someone else. Trying to do it by credit card would probably be too complex.

Hoorah! You played my Prince gateway tune, Pop Life, which I haven't heard in at least 8 years and I forgot the important role this song played in opening doors for me musically. It's difficult to overstate the impact this tune had on me in 1985, still, somehow it's better than I remember it. I'll never understand what in this song so completely captures my imagination.
