i sent my clients notes saying i might be off the grid for a few days. one of them is on her honeymoon. i sent her the edited chapters of the book i was copyediting for her as a gift in case the power/internet outage extends. she'll get more use out of the chapters than another bloody place setting from the registry.

I can guarantee you that most radio shows on public radio that play adventuresome music like this — the few shows that really do — I can guarantee you that most would be dumbing down their content during fundraising time.
