12539:

Joe, I'm going to keep reminding you about Blumin's 12" single file suggestion until you go ahead with it.
  12:15am
12539:

But I'll let you off the hook regarding "cassingle file."
Avatar 12:17am
Joe McG:

The only problem with an all 12" Single File is that it would only take about 3 singles! It would have to be a special hour version.
  12:27am
T-Zero:

big records with small holes that play at 45

Hey, Dan. I still don't know what conkers are. They sound like they'd be difficult to eat.

Marmalade Kitty:

Gary the squirrel might fancy himself!
  1:19am
T-Zero:

I thought conkers were buckeyes here in the states
  1:21am

Heya Kurt Gee
Avatar 1:35am
Joe McG:

@Kurt: I want to know what authority. Lou Reed? (Hi, Julie!)
  1:35am
Marmalade Kitty:

Conkers is a traditional game played with the fallen seeds of the conker tree (horse chestnut tree). The conkers are fed with a long piece of string and then left to harden.. Then the fun can begin! The game is for two. One person dangles their conker by the string, the objective is for the other player to swing their conker by the string as hard as neccessary, to crack open their opponents conker. Each takes turn until the conker explodes :D
  1:36am
KP:

Uh ...
  1:37am
DJKurtG:

apparently it comes from the guy that had that dusty vinyl store for decades in ... hackensack? i'm blanking on where now.
Avatar 1:37am
Joe McG:

Thank god we're on the Internet. Won't get arrested for dangling my conker.
Avatar 1:38am
Joe McG:

@DJKG: I don't trust any authority from Hackensack. Doo Wop authorities need to be from the Bronx.
  1:39am
Julie:

Let your conkers fly free, that's what I always say. Or I will now.
  1:40am
Marmalade Kitty:

lol!
Avatar 1:41am

They all wine, and eventually implode. The Police made the infighting part of the stage show. Roger Waters whines for careers on end.
  2:33am

the song was about to get cut and mick ronson (who played on the album) said he wanted to try to salvage it and that's what he came up with.
