I saw a Cage piece at Tonic a while back that was performed by a polite "new" music ensemble, and it was way too perfect (musicians were conservatory trained, etc), and it killed for me.

Yes, it has happened to me since I was a wee one. If I ever need to get a sneeze out, I stare at a bright light (not too bright).

the head tilt is left over from hunting days. you listen once and then reposition your ears and listen again to help triangulate on a sound. dogs do it a lot. i love that.

I ask about the sneezing thing because a couple years ago I heard station manager Ken had this. Plus some other people at wfmu. I tried to organize a quick sneeze fest break at the record fair. Ken could not sneeze and Clay P was there and didn't have this issue. Thinking about doing it again this record fair.

Oh. About a third of humans have this capability. It is genetic. Something to do with some nerves in the face that cross in some people with eye and nose nerves.

Seems there are all sorts of scientific correlations to think about being connected to "sun" sneezing. wonder if the percentage of wfmu listeners with this "ease" as it is not a disease but rather pleasant and useful, is higher than the public.
