Options Brian Turner: Playlist from August 7, 2012 Options

Order and disorder in a freeform haze of terribly-played guitars, shorted-out electronics, found audio detritus, strange sounds from strange lands all around. Psych-punk-junk, collage, even pop. Lots of in-studio live performances to boot.

Ok, I remember playing this when I filled in for the hardcose show and borrowed the host's records. If he sold his collection, I hope he got a lot. Good song.
  Tue. 8/7/12 3:20pm Cheri Pi:

apparently you add a little bit of bakers wax to the chocolate so they firm up, add a l ittle more if you're shooting to kill.

this is badaass, what the fuck???
Tue. 8/7/12 3:21pm Matt from Springfield:

  Tue. 8/7/12 3:23pm kat330:

Catch up atcha on Dusty, Matt.
  Tue. 8/7/12 3:23pm Cheri Pi:

If you want to make the Devil's Buckeye, add a rhubarb syrup center to the candy. but you have to be pretty crazy to do that. or have your reasons.
Tue. 8/7/12 3:23pm Matt from Springfield:

Wax is natural and digestible, often used in candymaking.
Tue. 8/7/12 3:24pm Matt from Springfield:

The Dusty fill-in tonight? You bet!
  Tue. 8/7/12 3:26pm Letha:

@ Joe P - Thanks!
  Tue. 8/7/12 3:27pm Braveness23:

CP, so it all comes down to that? You're either crazy or you "have your reasons"?

Tuesday? oooo I want eater 45s!
Tue. 8/7/12 3:30pm Matt from Springfield:

Cokes & Snickers--the new bath salts. (Actually I think that may be more dangerous than "bat salts" ever could be..)
  Tue. 8/7/12 3:30pm Cecile:

I might be able to help you out, Cheri. I think I have 1 or 2.
Email me offline.
  Tue. 8/7/12 3:31pm Braveness23:

Definitely not next TH or F as I'll be in Dayton. M & T look pretty good. W is wide open but that usually means that I'll be gobbled up by something so that's iffy.
  Tue. 8/7/12 3:31pm Cheri Pi:

I will i will!!!!! Also, there are no Best of War LPs to be had in this town, I'll send you anything you want!

  Tue. 8/7/12 3:49pm Cecile:

OK, I never saw this Sneaky Feelings.
  Tue. 8/7/12 3:50pm eddy:

That Lines track reminded me of Vic Godard & Subway Sect. Any Aussie singles coming up this time, Tom?
  Tue. 8/7/12 3:55pm Woo:

Speaking of Subway, I should not have had onions added to my footlong tuna
Tue. 8/7/12 3:55pm Matt from Springfield:

LOVE that Toe Rag jacket cover! That artist obviously fine tuned his/her pencil drawing skills over many boring high school classes!
Tue. 8/7/12 3:56pm Matt from Springfield:

@Woo: Tuna melt for me myself this afternoon. Altoid? (shakes tin)
  Tue. 8/7/12 3:56pm Watsy:

As a former Revolver USA warehouse manager, I am enjoying these selections immensely...nice work guys...
  Tue. 8/7/12 3:58pm Uriah:

Toe Rag is good, but they can't hold a candle to Toe Fat!
  Tue. 8/7/12 4:05pm Cheri Pi:

I know I've read about a recent Flying Nun reish this week, and I thought it was the Sneaky Feelings, can't find my source though...
