Sounds tasty, you guys (well, except for hamburger's sad egg)! For me, it was a tie between chicken adobo and white pizza. |

Yesterday = cream/custard/cheese-filled pastries, fruit, dim sum (dumplings/buns galore), beef soup with hand-pulled noodles, pizza. Today = salad! |

Best thing I ate this weekend was the lamb burger at Rachel's in Minneapolis. Support this place! They are old-fashioned in an 80s ways and just lovely. They're like the first fancy restaurants who had good hamburgers with cloth napkins and tablecloths. I shouldn't be able to get into that place as easily as I do.
|
Mon. 7/30/12 9:55am
Cecile:
Also, if you get a cocktail, it's really enough for 2 drinks. And some.

Hey all, quick question for you FMU experts - is there a DJ/timeslot that's heavy on arabic/middle eastern music? I listen, but apparently not diligently enough. Thanks!

Cecile:
Kyril, Irene sometimes plays the more meditative pieces from that region, and Jason Sigal (who's currently on hiatus) always plays lots of middle eastern music. Check the archives for his shows. All the shows will sprinkle it in, but these are the ones I've encountered the most.
