Live performance by Lee Feldman
For "Album No. 4: Trying to Put the Things Together that Never Been Together Before," Lee Feldman travels familiar musical territory with another great collection of tunes that are sweet and funny, poignant and absurd. In Lee's latest newsletter, The Feldman, he asks,"Why make something as expensive and labor intensive as a hi-fi CD and put it into an over-saturated music market in a post-compensation society?" Even though the music business has not been especially kind to Lee, it's probably because he's totally driven to do it, as a self-described "pianist, songwriter, teacher, student, collaborator, franchise owner, Brooklynite and a fully effective nice fellow." Lee Feldman dropped by WFMU's "Love Room" to play live and chat about the new album and his other musical ventures.

Irene, such a joy today. Most FMU shows I listen to are hit and miss -- many more miss than hit -- but your program has (for me) the best bullseye accuracy of any.

Have a most safe, relaxing and wonderful vacation!
