Listener comments!

Mon. 7/2/12 3:07am Dead Air Robot:

Happy belated birthday, Nick. Don't fall asleep.
Mon. 7/2/12 3:18am Nick the Bard:

I think I'll be alright. At least I can walk around a bit better in here.
Mon. 7/2/12 3:19am Nick the Bard:

Tonight's playlist might be a bit bland, but, we'll see what happens. Kind of ended up rushing a bit with things this afternoon and couldn't get stuff set up correctly. Oops.
Mon. 7/2/12 3:21am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

This is my first time listening to your show so I don't have any preconceived notions or expectations.
Mon. 7/2/12 3:25am Nick the Bard:

Trust me, check out the last show and you'll see how this one is probably going to end up comparing.
Mon. 7/2/12 3:29am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

So is the Action Figure Theater fumetti a regular feature of your playlists?
Mon. 7/2/12 3:30am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

How appropriate that there would be a cut-out bin at a place called Cost Cutters.
Mon. 7/2/12 3:32am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

ASH!
Mon. 7/2/12 3:32am Nick the Bard:

I actually wanted it to be from the start, but last week was the first time I had done it. I did have one planned for tonight, but I couldn't find a couple of the figures I really needed for it in time.

I have done them in the past on my own defunct website, so the one I did last week was a good first experimental one, but lousy in my overall body of work (I think anyway, the dialogue just feels REALLY generic)
Mon. 7/2/12 3:41am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

You do your best. And you'll get better the more you do it. Sometimes when you're trying to write something it just doesn't happen. I've written for publications and websites in the past (and kind of do now...I'm the social media ninjaneer for my company) and there have been times where I just want to beat my head against a wall in hopes that it'll knock a good idea loose.
Mon. 7/2/12 3:44am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

There's this one Star Wars action figure thing I've been seeking for fifteen years. Man or Astroman? used it as the video intro to their shows on a tour. The audio was the old 7-inch Star Wars story record and the video was the record acted out with action figures. The assault on the Death Star used visuals from the old Atari Star Wars arcade game.
  Mon. 7/2/12 3:45am listener mark:

morning mister nick
Mon. 7/2/12 3:47am Nick the Bard:

I hear you. The comics I've done that I've really felt were my best work were the ones that just poured out in one shot. I think once I can get to a regular pattern of dealing with things in their entirety it should get easier to deal with.
  Mon. 7/2/12 3:54am ausmanx:

evening from Sydney, Nick. Americans are very strange.
Mon. 7/2/12 4:01am Nick the Bard:

Sorry about things tonight, winamp isn't playing nice tonight for some reason >_<
  Mon. 7/2/12 4:01am listener mark:

No, nothing. Wait,... ok. Ahhh,,,,,, nope just an LSD flashback. Still nothing.
Mon. 7/2/12 4:03am Nick the Bard:

O_o weird, I'm checking the comps in the building, and they all seem to be working fine. Computers are stupid.
  Mon. 7/2/12 4:06am Johnny Turbo:

High five on Segata Sanshiro. Which NES game is your bed music from??
Mon. 7/2/12 4:08am Nick the Bard:

Going with the first Sunsoft Batman game tonight, level 1
  Mon. 7/2/12 4:11am Johnny Turbo:

I'm ashamed that I didn't recognize that immediately. Thanks! Show's been lots of fun so far.
Mon. 7/2/12 4:13am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Creatures of the Night!!!
Mon. 7/2/12 5:24am Nick the Bard:

Guess you guys fell asleep before I did huh? ;P
  Mon. 7/2/12 5:47am fxo:
