Nice to hear that the Watts track had a cooling effect. I can assure folks that the rest of the album is as good. In fact, the opening track is longer. Hint ...

I've been to St. Louis in August, Biloxi in July, and Tampa Bay during Easter, so I feel for you guys. It'll be 100 here for the foreseeable future, but the humidity will stay at 25% or so.

Doug, Some time back I heard a great song on FMU called "Maria Bethânia", from the early 70's i think. Which was sung by... I got to go look this up now... Caetano Veloso. Maria was his sister. both very well known musicians in Brazil and beyond, apparently. At some point in the future when you're putting together a theme set do you think you could devote one to them?

Not sure, my notes (which are non existent on this) are incomplete. I think it was Fabio who played it, the story at the air break was that the musician singing it was living in Chicago at the time and musically asking Maria to write him a letter.

Mr. Krebs, in his capsule review, did nothing to eliminate the possibility of future joshing about that kid's knees. If that's really the case, you're in big trouble, he said, wildly spraying accusations.
