A reflexive, traveling radio production. Each show is spontaneous as a backroom deal, a different guest a different location every week. Two hours of trading records with friends, programming without a prepared playlist. Actually, it goes like this: Jesse Kaminsky travels around Providence and the world with a portable radio show, visits a different person every week and makes spontaneous musical exchanges. We agree to call it radio.

(it takes me forever to write/talk in espanol, but I can read it fine), I was surprised the last few times I was in Pachuca, Mexico, visiting my gf's parents, that univsion/telemundo is now part of the standard cable package there (seeing that's based in Miami).

I think Mirmaroglu was at Columbia for over 40 years and I think he resigned as the head of the Music Dept in 2002 over the smoking ban. He's still kicking at 86 years old.
