bruceleh:

Good Morning!
  9:10am
seang:

are you ready for some futbol!
  9:11am
other david:

C'mon Ireland :)
  9:12am
Dead Corporate Eyes:

mornin' Scott, everyone, let's make it a helluva day for music
  9:13am
BSI:

Against all odds, I'll be flying St.George's Cross proudly outside my home in DC, which may constitute treason, but screw it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:13am
Scott:

I support Ireland too since my wife has family there. But I don't really care all that much. Go Poland?
  9:14am
mr gee from london:

great news u are into euro 2012!! Put my bets on already for the matches today at 4.15 and 8.0 (GMT)
Bet on for Spain to win!!!!

English but not an England fan.............
  9:14am
bruceleh:

Soccer?
Homo Sapiens, a pinnacle of evolution with its hand, opposable thumb, having fine motor skill beyond anything else in the animal kingdom, and people like to watch people kicking a ball around with their feet?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:14am
Scott:

The thumb. Look where that got us!
  9:15am
BSI:

Stupid thumb.
  9:16am
trollll:

brucleh: and music, just a bunch of highly evolved vocal projections and/or instrument fiddling to tickle our eardrums.. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!!
  9:18am
BSI:

As for that "humans being a pinnacle of evolution with fine motor skills" thing: After witnessing a tiny spider construct an enormous web outside my back door, spanning a couple of yards, with perfect geometrical symmetry, I'd say we're still a bunch of retarded mudskippers.
  9:18am
BSI:

...just one retarded mudskipper's observation...
  9:19am
Dead Corporate Eyes:

boy you really opened up a can of worms there bruceleh!
  9:19am
bruceleh:

LOL, I love to stir it up!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:19am
Scott:

Good stuff!
  9:19am
ausmanx:

Germans will win this time, the Spanish are too worried about their debt, half of which is owned by Real and Barca... but then again, I'm Australian and what do we know about football?
  9:20am
HotRod:

Beautiful way to kick off the show!! :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:22am
Scott:

Hey HotRod! :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:26am
Scott:

Socceroos!
  9:26am
ausmanx:

i can't join that tipping contest, it's saturated with golden arches!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:29am
Scott:

Haha, yeah. That's ok, don't let the man get you down.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:37am
Scott:

Not sure how to bet against Spain at this point but Germany is formidable. WHAT ABOUT ENGLAND?
  9:39am
BSI:

I'm on the record as a supporter, Scott. Got my three lions at the ready.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:40am
Scott:

Yeah but do you think they'll win? No one in England seems to think they'll get outta the group stage.
  9:42am
Maggie Thatcher:

Victoria will be victorious! God save the queen!
  9:43am
J Lydon:

she means it, man
  9:43am
other david:

It's impossible to tell, no sane person predicted Greece would win back in 2004.

Maybe the lack of expectation (for a change) will be a bonus for England, but things seem really messed up off the pitch.

Guess the smart money has to be on Spain or Germany.

Cant register on the uefa site, must be too busy.

Loving the music Scott, it's making up for a wet & windy day here.
  9:44am
BSI:

Much like plucky Arsenal, I reckon anything is possible, from complete world domination to crushing apocalyptic failure.
  9:46am
BSI:

YETI!
  9:47am
ausmanx:

England should start with a loss against France and it'll be all downhill after that... Goals for - 3, Goals against - 27. amon duul 11 played in paris last month... i was there, they were tragic. this is glorious
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:51am
Scott:

Yeah it'll be fun to see if France wins 4-1!
  9:52am
PKNY:

This Amon Düül 2 is soooo facemelting, thanks for playing!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:53am
Scott:

Facemelts r us.
  9:56am
Ruaraidh:

Aww man I cant even escape the football on fmu today!! (-; Just as well the Düül is transporting me to another dimension!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:00am

  10:04am

  10:33am
pierre:

Speaking of France !
Bonjour Scott and listeners !
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:34am
Scott:

Bonjour!
  10:36am
Dead Corporate Eyes:

that's one heckuva label name
  10:36am
pierre:

"Et Mon Cul C'est du Tofu?" is a pretty good label.

FYI (and surely you all already know that) Stephan Eicher, is a swiss singer, mostly famous in France for a song "déjeuner en paix" trad "lunch time in peace".
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:37am
Scott:

Hilarious multi-label release!
  10:38am
Davice:

Does someone have a hardcopy of the lirics to this song?
  10:40am
Berg:

@pierre this totally reminds me of the band "les morts peuvent attendre"
  10:40am
Dead Corporate Eyes:

of course, it's Friday, and that means I am being hacked again. Go for it, if it really makes you that happy.
  10:41am
Mark:

that was like a mental colonic
  10:41am
Davice:

Sexual irregularity? Can you take a pill for that?
  10:44am
Davice:

Squeaks alot too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:46am
Scott:

Let's all keep it civil.
  10:47am
pierre:

@Berg : the band that we saw toghether with fred, and Brian Turner.?
  10:53am
Davice:

History mearly repeats itself!
  10:53am
CKH:

Love this new WLS, can't wait to grab it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:54am
Doug S.:

I love this track, Scott. (Wish I could listen.)
  10:57am
Brian in UK:

Hello Scott & folks, just to go back to the fitball. The main concern is the potential racism & monkey chants that UEFA need to respond to there. Platini has said that any player leaving the field of play due to this will be yellow carded.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:58am
Scott:

Balotelli said if someone throws a banana at him he will walk off the field into the stands and kill that person.
  10:59am
other david:

I heartily endorse Balotelli's strategy
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:59am
Scott:

I wouldn't doubt that man.
  11:01am
Brian in UK:

The ref is in charge, whatever your feelings. Walking off will not solve anything. Tough action from football authorities must happen.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:10am
Scott:

No of course. I am hopeful that reason prevails.
  11:10am
Brian in UK:

I fear you are correct, Mingus. This was just after they visited Aushwitz.
  11:15am
CKH:

Thumbscrew is top notch, loving this.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:16am
Scott:

Yeah! Thanks CKH.
  11:16am
Dead Corporate Eyes:
