Best start ever.
  9:08pm
Martha:

Thanks!
  9:11pm
Destroit:

I love this kind of stuff.
  9:13pm
Martha:

I have trouble resisting it -
  9:17pm
Destroit:

I would love a show dedicated to such stuff. Talking with angles, sound and stories.
  9:19pm
Andrew Waterloo:

Good evening
  9:19pm
Martha:

Not a bad idea - there is plenty of that stuff out there -
  9:21pm
Martha:

Evening Andrew -
  9:27pm
sinister dexter:

hey Martha ... hi fellow listeners ... greetings from michigan ^_^
  9:35pm
Martha:

How's Michigan these days? Warming up?
  9:37pm
Destroit:

Windows wide open Martha, hello west side Dex!
  9:39pm
Martha:

So Destroit is actually from Detroit! - thought so but always good to have direct affirmation -
  9:39pm
Andrew Waterloo:

seemed pretty nice when I drove through a couple weeks ago
  9:41pm
Destroit:

Yep...more noise please :)
  9:44pm
Martha:

Workin' on it - it's all about the flow, you know?
  9:47pm
Destroit:

I trust your flow Martha.
  10:10pm
PB:

Destroit, if you like beautiful noise check out Flying Saucer Attack.
  10:11pm
fudge:

  10:14pm
sinister dexter:

  10:14pm
dave:

what sinister dexter said. this fadensonnen thing is fantastic.
  10:16pm
Destroit:

Thanks PB. Thanks Martha. Thanks Satan :)
  10:17pm
Martha:

The new Fadensonnen: definitely one of my fave records of the year - and I don't think it is in any danger of being displaced - they've really opened up their sound w/out any compromise (at least in my view) -
  10:19pm
Martha:

Does Satan appreciate emoticons? I wonder what his repertoire is?
  10:21pm
dave:

satan INVENTED emoticons.
  10:22pm
Destroit:

Thanks Dave.
  10:22pm
L.:

I'm in need of some restraint ;-)
  10:24pm
dave:

neglected to purchase the fadensonnen album the last time i heard and raved about it. i have corrected that oversight. once again, martha's show has a material effect on my bank account.
  10:24pm
PB:

Use all your well learned politics or I'll lay your soul to waste. Love the live version from Get Yer Ya-Yas Out.
  10:30pm
Richard from Venezuela:

Hello Martha and all the listeners.
  10:31pm
Destroit:

Like the change of pace and hello Richard.
  10:32pm
dave:

little known fact: the lyrics to sympathy for the devil as originally written are "... well after all, it was you and it was me :)". the emoticon is left off most transcriptions, but you can hear it if you listen to a good vinyl pressing of beggars banquet.
  10:34pm
Destroit:

Fascinating
  10:34pm
PB:

Interesting, I love little known music trivia like that.
  10:35pm
dave:

it's the sort of thing i like to drop at cocktail parties. y'know, to break the ice.
  10:38pm
PB:

Sounds like Hurdy Gurdy Man.
  10:44pm
Martha:

I believe that Satan did indeed invent emoticons - it explains why I feel slightly unclean whenever I deploy one -
  10:53pm
Richard from Venezuela:

This Rotomagus track rocks. Brutal.
  10:56pm
Martha:

From '72 apparently. And from France!
  11:01pm
dave:

wow.
  11:03pm
ratbone:

kah runnn chi.... whoa!
  11:38pm
George of Troy:

Need to sleep, but can't stop listening. Killer set, Martha!
  11:39pm
Martha:

Hey thanks! - and many thanks to everyone else for checking in over the course of the show - esp. your input, much appreciated -
  11:43pm
coelacanth:

Hi Martha Sorry i'm late. I've obviously missed a lot, including some educational commentary, fortunately also archived. ...And,Yes,Dave.I've heard that emoticon on "sympathy-" but i think they remixed it for the hot rocks album, cuz i thought i heard (-Ω-).
  11:45pm
Richard from Venezuela:

This Pharoah sounds so good. I love this kind of instrumental rock.
  11:48pm
Ken From Hyde Park:

I enjoyed the show tonight. Maybe because the last few tunes were kind of like the Primavera music we got lately. Lots of instrumental "ba-wow-za" comin' at ya.
  11:48pm
Martha:

Related to Circle (can't remember exactly what it is now) - great band, have a number of records out - some more on the "metal side" of what we are hearing, some more of this ilk - glad you are enjoying it -
  11:52pm
Richard from Venezuela:

Glenn Branca music shape.
  11:53pm
dave:

loving this billy dirt cult.
  11:55pm
Martha:

It IS awesome - one man action outta Alaska - no Sarah Palin refs (at least none that can be discerned) -
  11:57pm
dave:

also awesome: necro deathmort. yow.
