Listener comments!

Mon. 5/21/12 3:02pm Dead Corporate Eyes:

that's a lesson in reverb. I'm always teaching my kids about the wonders of reverb.
  Mon. 5/21/12 3:02pm northguineahills:

A fill-in for Jim Price, lol. Jeff Sarge did an excellent job!
  Mon. 5/21/12 3:06pm Looms:

May the agnostic say Hello?
  Mon. 5/21/12 3:07pm Mike East:

@DCE - have you tried the Holy Grail pedal?
  Mon. 5/21/12 3:09pm Edmond:

The pop and click of an old LP! I miss that sound in this digital age.
Mon. 5/21/12 3:09pm Dead Corporate Eyes:

hey Mike, that's been on my list for awhile...should just break down and get it. For the kids, I teach them about reverb in tunnels and stuff...we bounce our voices around cemented areas, etc. FUN!
  Mon. 5/21/12 3:09pm PKNY:

This version of "To Love Somebody" is ridiculous, never knew that the Animals did a version...thanks for playing!
  Mon. 5/21/12 3:13pm Bridge:

Glad you're playin' this stuff.
  Mon. 5/21/12 3:13pm notglenn:

Good afternoon Scott!
  Mon. 5/21/12 3:13pm Mike East:

@DCE - its an important lesson to learn. The pedal is worth it...we got the newer one here (I think Holy Grail II)

  Mon. 5/21/12 3:31pm Mike East:

I did my own Donna Summer tribute on Saturday while cleaning. Played through two LP's. I don't own enough Beegees, which must be corrected.
  Mon. 5/21/12 3:32pm Berg:

  Mon. 5/21/12 3:43pm Dave B:

Participating again in June in a "Ulysses for Beginners" performance at a bar: fragmented outline notes, commentary and summaries, excerpts, visual aids. Love to love you, JJ.
  Mon. 5/21/12 3:47pm pierre:

Bonjour Scott !
Bonjour listeners !
  Mon. 5/21/12 3:50pm still b/p:

The collective term, I think, as in murder of crows and pride of lions, is a "bellyache of Zagnuts."
  Mon. 5/21/12 3:51pm Bridge:

rainy days and mondays ;)
  Mon. 5/21/12 3:51pm efd:

aha! I was fully expecting to hear the Marbles - thanks for the explanation.
  Mon. 5/21/12 3:51pm blacktooth:

That last set had me dancin', dancin', Danson, Danson, dancin'......
  Mon. 5/21/12 3:55pm Diane:

I always eat a box of Zagnut bars (8) on Mondays, and then I reign it in pretty much for the rest of the week. My husband is worse. He eats several packages of Switzer's Root Beer Licorice a day! Loving Scott's show.
  Mon. 5/21/12 3:56pm Dave B:

@Scott - this one?

  Mon. 5/21/12 3:56pm Bridge:

Mon. 5/21/12 4:10pm Dave from Geese:

i must say-I think the sleeve is kind of ace myself
Mon. 5/21/12 4:12pm Dave from Geese:

laminated electric blue, gold writing, Robin in a Busby looking like a loony-- I love it-- also not many 69 70 records feature drum machine throughout!-- although thats possibly not relevant to the sleeve thing
  Mon. 5/21/12 4:15pm efd:

Nice version of "Starry Eyes" - hadn't heard that one before. Quite an all-star lineup, too!
  Mon. 5/21/12 4:18pm Carmichael:

OK, hello there Scott. And hello dere listeners.
  Mon. 5/21/12 4:19pm Dave B:

The Bee Gees Rhythm Machine kicked Shaun Cassidy's Electronic Organs ass...

Hi Scott, I just saw a documentary last night on Roger Salloom (Salloom Sinclair & Mother Bear). Totally intrigued, and I thought of WFMU. If you know of or about them, any comment or song would be appreciated.

A little late, but thanks Scott for Cleaners From Venus. I discovered Martin Newell a few years ago and enjoy his angle on music.
  Mon. 5/21/12 5:31pm Droll:

Has Medicine been reissued? I listened to my MiniDisc (!!!) copy of this song a few weeks ago and thought about replacing it with a CD... I loved the American Shoegaze sound.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 5/21/12 5:33pm Scott:

@Droll, yup - Captured Tracks doing the full-on 2-CD w/ extras treatment
  Mon. 5/21/12 5:34pm Charlie:

Loved Starry Eyes by The Records, love it even more by Dr Janet
  Mon. 5/21/12 5:36pm Carmichael:

Oh, THAT Starry Eyes. I loved that song when it came out. I was overseas and not in touch with anything western, and I saw The Records and PF's The Wall sitting on a record store shelf. Glad I was tempted to buy.
  Mon. 5/21/12 5:43pm Droll:

Scott, Thanks for the Captured Tracks clue. I see they also released a LP box set on Record Store Day (and sold out). I probably would have squealed like a schoolgirl if I ran into that on RSD.
  Mon. 5/21/12 5:44pm Carmichael:

Thre's your reverb, DCE.
  Mon. 5/21/12 5:49pm Michele:
