Hello there!

  1:09am
hr:

come back!
  1:27am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

I had a feeling that this was from that Moondog/Julie Andrews record. You played a cut off this a few weeks ago.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:31am
Therese:

It is delightful.

This is a doggone good show.

Thank you!

last.fm/user/johnnykevlar:

I'm talking to someone that claims "Women can't experience that raw, completely overwhelming pure bliss you get when you listen to psychedelic or noisy music."What do you guys think? I disagree, but he claims it's from psychological differences.
  1:50am
Bill:

Back when George died i gave Joe some copies of GH bootlegs. i was driving my out-of-town nephew back from whence he came.
"Why do you listen to this station?" says brat. Just then joe thanked me by name on air. "That is why i listen to this station!"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:52am
Therese:

I think that guy might be painting women with too broad a brush, Johnny Kevlar
  1:53am
last.fm/user/johnnykevlar:

Yeah, I know. What do you experience when listening to psychedelic music? I'm not even sure I get that kind of bliss myself, but he says it's impossible for women to get that.
  1:56am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

I shall refrain from making any wisecracks about broads and broad brushes. :D
  1:58am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

But on a serious note it sounds like BS to me. Something stated by someone who believes in clearly cut gender attributes...and with an inferiority complex to boot.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:00am
Therese:

Yeah, I get the feeling he tried to impress a girl with favorite psych record and failed. And so he concocted this grand theory.
  2:04am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

It would be like someone stating that women are incapable of experiencing the primal aspects of metal. R-I-D-effing-iculous!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:06am
Therese:

Maybe he's speaking with the ghost of Christopher "Women Aren't Funny" Hitchens?
  2:08am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Obviously the late Mr. Hitchens never listened to Therese. :)
  2:14am
Hellhole:

yo I am the guy who said those "things"

and I would like to put it on record I never implied that I was 100% sure.In fact I specifically said that I AM NOT SURE whether women and men experience psychedelia the same way and would be interested in seeing a study on the matter.
  2:18am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

You know where you stand in a hell hole.
  2:19am
last.fm/user/johnnykevlar:

Oh shit, my main man Stefan's song!

  2:29am

This record is fantastic! I'm looking forward to their performance on Cherry Blossom Clinic in a couple of weeks.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:31am
Therese:

Yes! Ceremony will be playing on the Cherry Blossom Clinic on May 26th!
  2:32am
john:

If you've already listened to Ekstasis, then I also recommend you check out White Hinterland. Their record Kairos was my favorite album of 2010, really well-done dream pop album.
