Johnny K, was there a list somewhere of iconic post 2000 rock riffs? Can't think of any offhand (or imagine trying to come up with them while doing a radio show). What comes to your mind?

jljl, it was brought up on a site I go on because Spin magazine wrote that the electronic producer Skrillex is one of the best guitarist ever because of the riff from "nice sprites and scary monsters" is up there with led zeppelin. Really ridiculous, so I was trying to think of rock riffs in modern rock.

go, go Bad Ron! | |
Tue. 5/8/12 12:25pm

really? You can not be able to play the guitar and come up with a great riff. I give you "You really got me." Or the Troggs... I mean, I like Skrillex and all, but really?

Tue. 5/8/12 12:33pm

I think Billy Childish probably had a few decent riffs...but you'd have to sift through about 100 records to make sure..
Tue. 5/8/12 12:34pm
KevinfromBayRidge:
So many riffs...So little time!
Tue. 5/8/12 12:34pm
