You see a blanket on the ground. It's your favorite color, smooth and soft. You can sit on it, or lie on it. It's a flying blanket, and you are the pilot. You are in control. You can fly anywhere you wish, just by thinking about it. You are the pilot.

If you had a time machine you probably would be better off not traveling back to 1991 and playing this on the jukebox in "Alcatraz"
  Mon. 3/26/12 9:17pm D in Miami:

No! Not Queen! I sensed that in Sparks, but that was better.

You too, Freddie, we know.
Avatar Mon. 3/26/12 9:20pm Dan B:

@D in Miami -- I reached waaaay back for this underexposed Queen gem with the expert assistance of Scott Williams to connect with Sparks but avoid the obvious Queen references. I think this tune is genuinely KILLER
  Mon. 3/26/12 9:21pm JayBe:

Killer Queen.
  Mon. 3/26/12 9:22pm JayBe:

A friend of the band, and dedicated hype man in cities that i don't live in. I wondered if you could ask Cuddle Magic about the man in whose memory their album is dedicated, or some of the personal feelings behind their music.

Thanks Dan. I knew Donald personally, and was just curious to hear their relationship to him. Love this band!
Avatar Mon. 3/26/12 10:18pm Dan B:

I read that the name came from the way they started off playing all acoustic and would gather in the tightest possible circle to play right at each other and create an intimate sound

pop green shoutin out to my fav band sounding better than ever

  Mon. 3/26/12 10:53pm http://www.last.fm/user/johnnykevlar:

I just got here, were they doing lame jokes like that Beyonce one all night?
  Mon. 3/26/12 10:54pm meow:

  Mon. 3/26/12 10:54pm G:

and it did sound good indeed, thanks ernie
  Mon. 3/26/12 10:56pm http://www.last.fm/user/johnnykevlar:

Oh, this really isn't that bad. The most wanted is actually worse in my opinion.
Mon. 3/26/12 10:58pm the glowing one:

Unwanted? It's great! But someone should have tuned that harmonica.
Mon. 3/26/12 10:59pm the glowing one:

  Mon. 3/26/12 11:00pm http://www.last.fm/user/johnnykevlar:

This is 21 minutes long, btw.
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:01pm Jonathan:

I hope this is the signal picked up by aliens some day.
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:03pm Chris:

This is hell in audio form. Just when you think you can tolerate it, it shifts into something else, twisting the aural knife. DEEP HURTING.
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:03pm steve:

is this still the most unwanted music? its like a slightly more annoying version of the go! team
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:03pm Andrew Waterloo:

I completely forgot that this existed, always wanted to hear it
Mon. 3/26/12 11:03pm the glowing one:

that lame rap in the opera voice is the worst
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:03pm Patrick:

this song is amazing! its as if Mike Kelley wrote it, only not as sinister.
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:05pm steve:

congrats on killing all the good will created by the cuddle magic set, you sick bastard
Avatar Mon. 3/26/12 11:05pm Dan B:

You guys are funny. I *do* think this needs to be updated, it's really from like the era of the first Whitney Houston album. At least, the Most Wanted Music song sounds like the spawn of Whitney and Kenny G. I love how this music just keeps upping the ante. I literally laugh every time I listen.
Mon. 3/26/12 11:05pm the glowing one:

yeah, it's like you just killed winnie the pooh, dan. not cool.
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:06pm Patrick:

@steve, yeah the go team is about as bad as it gets, but (and not to bite tom scharplings stylie) but Porcupine pie by Neil Diamond has to be the WORST song of all time.
Mon. 3/26/12 11:06pm the glowing one:

the shove the turkey in the oven of part is really upliftig
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:07pm Patrick:

wow this just got better!
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:07pm mrpersonage:

Ha. It is truly the most unwanted music with something to offend everyone's sensibilities. I hate groups of children singing.
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:07pm G:

21 minutes to say goodbye and get them out into the parking lot :-)
Mon. 3/26/12 11:08pm the glowing one:

before it gets bad it gets worse
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:08pm Andrew Waterloo:

You just can't hate a song with that much tuba
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:09pm Andrew Waterloo:

It's not like the opera singer is Mrs. Miller... or would she make it more awesome?
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:09pm G:

Mon. 3/26/12 11:10pm the glowing one:

Mon. 3/26/12 11:10pm the glowing one:

no, is it over? yay! no it's not!
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:11pm steve:

patrick, im gonna have to listen to porcupine pie again, thanks. i always thought of it as pleasantly stupid
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:11pm Ike:

I normally HATE groups of kids singing, but something about these kids shouting "at Wal-Mart!" cracks me up EVERY TIME. The glee of the whole "Most Unwanted Music" movement is just so palpable. I am chortling like a constipated walrus.
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:12pm Andrew Waterloo:

Ike, it's the tuba I tell you.. the TUBA
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:12pm steve:

they did nail it with the opera - rap... this is just about the worth thing imaginable
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:13pm G:

worth thing :-)
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:14pm G:

what is this, about minute 15 ish?
Mon. 3/26/12 11:14pm the glowing one:

this song requires an acquired taste, the longer you listen to it and the more often you listen to it, the more you appreciate it
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:14pm mrpersonage:

I like that they start to get down to some more obscure holidays. Bagpipe, opera, and cowpoke beats. It works.
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:14pm Chris:

I'm pretty much screaming "END!" at the speakers at this point.
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:15pm http://www.last.fm/user/johnnykevlar:

It sounds like they recorded vocals over Smile outtakes.
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:15pm G:

21:58, says ye olde interwebs
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:15pm Patrick:

oh man this is so goood.... i wonder what the most wanted song sounds like
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:16pm steve:

the tolerable bits just make it even worse, somehow
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:16pm mrpersonage:

It sounds like every song you ever heard in a supermarket
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:16pm G:

that's only 5:09 long, patrick, no good for herding a large band out of the building!
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:17pm steve:

supermarket power electronics
Mon. 3/26/12 11:19pm the glowing one:

  Mon. 3/26/12 11:19pm mrpersonage:

Mon. 3/26/12 11:19pm the glowing one:

  Mon. 3/26/12 11:19pm http://www.last.fm/user/johnnykevlar:

The most wanted song is like a mix of country and other stuff like that. It's a lot worse.
Mon. 3/26/12 11:21pm the glowing one:

the cd actually comes with the lyrics :) how convenient for singing along
Avatar Mon. 3/26/12 11:21pm Dan B:

Agreed that the Most Wanted Song is truly unbearable -- and especially because it is TOTALLY SINCERE
Mon. 3/26/12 11:24pm the glowing one:

it's what 72% of all people from 1997 would love, so yes it's even worse
Avatar Mon. 3/26/12 11:26pm Dan B:

Doesn't Circle with Bruce Duff (of band The Jesters of Destiny) make a nice coda to the Most Unwanted Music with a song whose lyrics come from spam messages?
Mon. 3/26/12 11:28pm the glowing one:

didn't work, I still have to think about the most unwanted music
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:29pm steve:

im having a hard time leaving the Most Unwanted Music mindset...
  Mon. 3/26/12 11:31pm http://www.last.fm/user/johnnykevlar:

Are you doing a "songs influenced by the most unwanted song" set?
Mon. 3/26/12 11:31pm the glowing one:

everything dan plays in the remaining 30 minutes will be measured against the most unwanted music
Mon. 3/26/12 11:32pm the glowing one:

Už Jsme Doma sound like a czech version of Mr. Bungle
Mon. 3/26/12 11:33pm the glowing one:

which sound like a californian version of bootsy's rubber band and john zorn
Mon. 3/26/12 11:37pm the glowing one:

Mon. 3/26/12 11:41pm the glowing one:

actually I have this record, the song is 14 minutes long :)
Mon. 3/26/12 11:42pm the glowing one:

5 minutes to go
Mon. 3/26/12 11:44pm the glowing one:

the visual art of Heldon really reminds me of Daft Punk
Mon. 3/26/12 11:44pm the glowing one:

they're both from France... I love this part
Mon. 3/26/12 11:46pm the glowing one:

distort the guitars add some growls and you have Black Metal
Avatar Tue. 3/27/12 12:00am Dan B:
