I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

Hey @K.A., Billy Jam is up in just over 6 hrs.

@Hollis, the key sentence that you typed at 12:20 during Scott's show regarding FMU's expenses is "the U.S. is expensive."
Fri. 3/2/12 12:46pm New York City area:

And I make *general* US expense levels look downright cheap.

As opposed to Philippe Petit, tightrope walker, which is what I found when looking at youtube to see if I could find any of this Philippe Petit.

Hey Heater, are reading comments board?

  Fri. 3/2/12 1:40pm Brian:

thanks but which track was it?
  Fri. 3/2/12 1:41pm Caryn:

@BDR: yeah, but Philippe Petit, tightrope walker, is f-ing cool, so consider your discovery a lucky one!
  Fri. 3/2/12 1:42pm Cecile:

I totally admire that guy, Caryn. he did his rope-walking while I was a kid.
  Fri. 3/2/12 1:43pm Caryn:

@Cecile: Did you ever see the documentary about him, "Man on a Wire"?
  Fri. 3/2/12 1:44pm Caryn:

Cecile, I wonder if we should add him to our stalkathon? Maybe he'll want to walk across some chasm in NZ, so we could synch the timing...
  Fri. 3/2/12 1:45pm Cecile:

No, I need to.
It looks great, but my husband is even more a'skeered of heights than I am. He saw a bit on a clip show, and he had to leave the room. I'll probably try to catch it this weekend, when he's off doing dude things.
  Fri. 3/2/12 1:45pm Looms:

@Caryn: it's not the Philippe Petit up for grabs here.
http://www.myspace.com/philippepetit
  Fri. 3/2/12 1:46pm Cecile:

I think he retired from it, caryn, but we could visit him in upstate New York on the way there.
  Fri. 3/2/12 1:49pm Caryn:

@Looms: I know, but I have to say, if the other Philippe Petit started making music, I'd certainly be interested in hearing what it would sound like :)
@Cecile: it's a plan! I first learned of the documentary years ago, when Petit was interviewed by Conan. When it came on tv, I just had to burn it onto DVD. It's very good.

Shameful things, I've always been sure ;)
  Fri. 3/2/12 1:54pm Brian:

I think he stands in the middle of large open fields and says `Om'
  Fri. 3/2/12 1:54pm Mary Wing:

I like Kevin's idea: have one day where there are 20-30 random artists which the DJs have to select their show from. I'd be up for that!
  Fri. 3/2/12 1:55pm Looms:

Mary! Greetings!
  Fri. 3/2/12 1:56pm Jay/ London:

  Fri. 3/2/12 1:56pm Pull Pork:

This is a very special show. It's what makes WFMU unique. Listeners learn about so much about new genres of music. Bryce is an amazing guy. He also has a huge penis. Come on, donate if you care.
  Fri. 3/2/12 1:57pm Danne D:

I get the feeling that Kevin is going to do better with the New Jersey town names than most FMU DJs :)

Someone say MN? I'll chime in too. It's not surprising I find myself more endeared to a station in New Jersey than the multitude of stations here in the Twin Cities, even the "independent" ones.
