Listener comments!

Sat. 2/4/12 9:05pm Ken From Hyde Park:

This Foust piece would make a good ring tone.
Sat. 2/4/12 9:06pm Richard from Venezuela:

Good evening Daniel
Avatar Sat. 2/4/12 9:07pm D. Blumin:

Hola, Ken! You got blizzarding?
Sat. 2/4/12 9:09pm Andrew Of Waterloo:

'evening all
  Sat. 2/4/12 9:10pm Destroit:

Hello DB, and all listeners.
Sat. 2/4/12 9:11pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Nope...no snow in the forecast here (H.P., NY). It might get below freezing overnight. I think the groundhog said spring arrived about a week ago.
  Sat. 2/4/12 9:11pm joe mulligan:

this spectrum spools label can do no wrong. great track DB!
Avatar Sat. 2/4/12 9:13pm D. Blumin:

Hiya, Richard, Andrew, and Destroit!
Andrew of Waterloo - which Waterloo? Not freezing in Europa, are ya? I don't wanna make the same mistake I did w/ Hyde Park!
Hiya, Joe!
  Sat. 2/4/12 9:13pm Ike:

Hey hey! No snow today up north in Ramapo Reservation (Mahwah) where I hiked.
Sat. 2/4/12 9:14pm Andrew Of Waterloo:

Nah, the Waterloo, Ontario.. just East of Toronto
Avatar Sat. 2/4/12 9:17pm D. Blumin:

Ahh, the snowless regions checking in!
Anyone snowed in??? It's February, dammit!
  Sat. 2/4/12 9:19pm Looms:

Hello there!
No snow in Brittany but a wet, windy cold (which is not better)
Sat. 2/4/12 9:22pm Andrew Of Waterloo:

It's snowed enough to ruin an evening's drive. That's about it. Nothing on the ground right now.
Avatar Sat. 2/4/12 9:22pm D. Blumin:

Looms! Great to see ya live and direct! But that still leaves the snowbound listeners missing... Who can report on blizzard conditions?
  Sat. 2/4/12 9:23pm ms_a:

hello from global weirding, D. We've had minimal snow but all winter I found the sun had a certain intensity, like I was in New Mexico and 43°North at simultaneously.
  Sat. 2/4/12 9:26pm Destroit:

I miss winter. The year has been so strange, no ice fishing, zero activity on the lake. The birds are confused. I'll just eat food, listen to you DB, absorb some HNIC...cheers to Bob Cole.
  Sat. 2/4/12 9:27pm ms_a:

ditto Destroit, ice fishing is messed up here too.
  Sat. 2/4/12 9:29pm Destroit:

Where are you from ms_a?
Sat. 2/4/12 9:29pm Wendy del Formaggio:

Destroit, I'm with you. As much as it's been nice not having to turn on the heat in our crappy, drafty apartment, I miss winter, too. Earlier today I heard geese flying overhead! Either many months early or many months late.
Avatar Sat. 2/4/12 9:29pm D. Blumin:

Minimal snow in Maine? What's goin on here, ms_a???
  Sat. 2/4/12 9:30pm G:

Am in Brooklyn, but to satisfy your snow jones at two degrees of separation: I was just on chat with someone who teaches in Denver. On Thursday, they cancelled Friday school. They have 18 inches or better on the ground now. She's staying inside with food and alcohol etc. for the duration. Unlclear yet if schools can open Monday morning.
  Sat. 2/4/12 9:30pm Destroit:

Hey Wendy, nice to grip ya!
  Sat. 2/4/12 9:31pm Barkevious Shabazz:

@ destroit wetsuit noodling for musky is a good alternative.
  Sat. 2/4/12 9:33pm ms_a:

it's the new era, D. I dunno, I actually like having the power stay ON without crippling ice storms.
  Sat. 2/4/12 9:35pm Destroit:

Hello Bark, wetsuit freakcamp is a fantastic substitute for boyscouts. Keep moving DB.
  Sat. 2/4/12 9:36pm T-Zero:

Avatar Sat. 2/4/12 9:39pm D. Blumin:

G, Denver sounds like the place to be - nothing beats a snow day in school!!!
Hiya, Wendy... Geese overhead is a good sign - not for ice fishing, but... what do I know about ice fishing????
Hello, T-Zero! Whatup, S. Dexter! No snow up in the Rapids either, I assume!
  Sat. 2/4/12 9:39pm Destroit:

Rubbin's racin!
  Sat. 2/4/12 9:41pm s. dexter:

Avatar Sat. 2/4/12 9:42pm D. Blumin:

  Sat. 2/4/12 9:44pm B. LaBonte:

  Sat. 2/4/12 9:46pm Lambasond:

Great job by James Reimer tonight, fire up Red Wings.
Sat. 2/4/12 9:51pm Wendy del Formaggio:

DB, I dunno if geese this early is a good sign. Don't we usually hear them flying back north in... oh... April?!? Anyway, I'm enjoying the show and hello to the listeners. :-)

  Sat. 2/4/12 9:54pm jeff-m:

Sat. 2/4/12 10:00pm Wendy del Formaggio:

This Felix Kubin makes me wish I were a robot. I mean that in a good way.
  Sat. 2/4/12 10:01pm Destroit:

Dancing is always encouraged, Preferaby, with eyes closed. Felix is blooping a bad lottery and that's a good thing.
  Sat. 2/4/12 10:02pm Looms:

Yep, you should see me dance on this ;)
Avatar Sat. 2/4/12 10:02pm D. Blumin:

  Sat. 2/4/12 10:04pm JayBe:

Damn. Destroit is way more man than I.
  Sat. 2/4/12 10:05pm JayBe:

No bikes?!?! Well, this has to be corrected. Immediately.
Avatar Sat. 2/4/12 10:05pm D. Blumin:

This Luke Hess guy seems to know everything.
Sat. 2/4/12 10:14pm Wendy del Formaggio:

No, DB, there's not. But I wanted to make it clear that I wasn't complaining about the track. It's true, there are some people out there who don't like robots or their music, but I'm not one of them!
  Sat. 2/4/12 10:15pm Destroit:

Gotta love Luke , his fancy glasses, and Brian Kage. You are on track!
  Sat. 2/4/12 10:21pm Lawrence:

Sat. 2/4/12 10:34pm Andrew Of Waterloo:

  Sat. 2/4/12 10:35pm JayBe:

Lets cut that damn rug
  Sat. 2/4/12 10:35pm Looms:

Avatar Sat. 2/4/12 10:50pm D. Blumin:

Ethiopia meets the Ex, Muhrvis!
Sat. 2/4/12 10:51pm Wendy del Formaggio:

This Tirudel Zenebe is KUH-RAY-ZEE. I would like to hear more of this in the not-too-distant future.
Sat. 2/4/12 10:51pm Andrew Of Waterloo:

Dancypantz: best word ever
  Sat. 2/4/12 10:54pm Destroit:

  Sat. 2/4/12 10:55pm JayBe:

I'm all in.
  Sat. 2/4/12 10:55pm Looms:

@Andrew: see what you mean, an Ex track performed live by Katherina Bornefeld on vocals and snare drum (don't remember the title)
  Sat. 2/4/12 11:06pm JayBe:

A jolly one
Sat. 2/4/12 11:06pm Andrew Of Waterloo:

I saw them when they toured with the Ethiopian sax player. That's pretty much what the whole set sounded like, only with a lot more horns.
  Sat. 2/4/12 11:07pm JayBe:

DO NOT STOP THE TED DANSON!
  Sat. 2/4/12 11:08pm Destroit:

Oh, I'll stick around. Thanks DB, great show.
  Sat. 2/4/12 11:11pm Looms:

@yep, it was a quite messy but joyful encore during the Moa Anbessa tour (2007 I think)
Avatar Sat. 2/4/12 11:22pm D. Blumin:

No reason Ted Danson wouldn't dance to this, JayBe. None whatsoever...
  Sat. 2/4/12 11:23pm Lawrence:

ok, off to bed, thx for the show!
  Sat. 2/4/12 11:24pm ms_a:

Good night Lawrence, pat Liam on the head for me.

But yes, Lawrence, I second what Destroit said. Thanks fer tuning in!!!
  Sat. 2/4/12 11:27pm Looms:

For some reason, just put the MOSQ album on the CD player for later. Thanks for the heads-up about eRikm, great piece.
  Sat. 2/4/12 11:30pm G:

It's 5:30 am Sunday in France -- right, Looms?

Now *there's* a guy who takes "no sleeping" to heart...
  Sat. 2/4/12 11:33pm Looms:

@G: yes it is but I fell asleep on the sofa around midnight and woke up at 3:10 so I'm fit enough to hang around 'til the end of the show.
  Sat. 2/4/12 11:36pm G:

OK, at least you took "no *more* sleeping" to heart, and woke up ten minutes after this show started...
  Sat. 2/4/12 11:39pm Destroit:

A flowering arrow to G, Looms, and ms_a.
  Sat. 2/4/12 11:41pm jeff-m:

Agreed Jeff. Quiet pounding.
  Sat. 2/4/12 11:49pm ms_a:

@Detroit: thank you! (sleepily)
Sat. 2/4/12 11:49pm Andrew Of Waterloo:

Why do I have this sudden urge to gurgle or sing into a metal fan?
  Sat. 2/4/12 11:50pm Destroit:

Blumin is going to be a noun. What the flying Blumin is happening, c'mon people!
  Sat. 2/4/12 11:51pm G:

denkyu very much
denkyu very much
that's the nicest thing that anyone's ever done for me
Sat. 2/4/12 11:52pm Wendy del Formaggio:

When I read "Changing Stations", all I can think of are the fold-out plastic table thingies in bathrooms for the care of babies' diapers. Whoops!
  Sat. 2/4/12 11:52pm Destroit:

Very warm hugs to you, ms_a;)
  Sat. 2/4/12 11:53pm Destroit:
