hope you bring up Gunther von Hagens atrocious Body Worlds display. How disgusting. I won't go into the whole depth, but his dad was a nazi who pioneered the "plastination" technique. Now idiot medical schools and museums host this travelling horror show, under the pretense that it's somehow "educational" - real plastic anatomical figures would be just as "educational" - instead, this monster displays actual human remains.

Bodies of poor pile up at Illinois morgue
An alarming number of dead bodies are stacking up at an Illinois morgue due to financial troubles, according to a report from The Chicago Sun Times.

Staff at the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office are upset over receiving an over-capacity in both adult and child bodies. With a limited amount of space, Cook County decided to pile bodies on top of one another in blue plastic tarps in the storage cooler.

On the responsibility of NY counties to bury unclaimed/etc dead(*wow* btw.)
->perhaps a useful (efficient/conservation-oriented/cost-effective) choice would be for all counties to set up Green-Cemeteries---> no embalming, no titanium-embossed-caskets, just wrapped bodies, buried, and left to decompose in the earth ((wooden markers/flowers allowable)).
