T-Zero:

Nice of you to fill in, Kurt. Was wondering if you'd be playing classical or not... Hope you had a pleasant holiday.
  8:06pm
Martin:

My Sylvia is so cute!
  8:08pm
DJ KG:

you know, i've actually been meaning to do an all classical episode during my regular slot - maybe i still will, but nice to have the opportunity here in the a440 chair! thanks for tuning in everyone.
  8:09pm
T-Zero:

Heh, gives you a chance to test it out... :)
  8:10pm
T-Zero:

@DJ KG: Speaking of which, do you ever listen to the Radia Network?
  8:11pm
Minnesota Jeff:

Get those classical legs all loose and ready.
  8:11pm
DJ KG:

t-o, no, don't know radia ntwk
  8:12pm
DJ KG:

mn gif, yup, and thanks for the lovely lamb on such short notice!
  8:14pm
T-Zero:

I didn't know of it either until I began listening to Western Art Music/Avant Gardening program on New Zealand's radio one (Otago Univ). It's a syndicated avant classical program.
  8:20pm
DJ KG:

Welcome.

T-Zero:

This Arditti Quartet would fit well on the Western Art time slot. The Avant Gardening (Radia) segment, when I've been able to catch it, seems to play a lot of environmental/field recordings, sound collage, etc...
  8:30pm
Richard from Venezuela:

Greetings Kurt and all the listeners.
  8:31pm
DJ KG:

hi richard! nice to see your name pop up here. haven't seen much of you since i moved to days.
  8:33pm
Richard from Venezuela:

Nice to catch this fill-in. You or Bethany before Dan Bodah show is terrific. Perfect music match.
  8:33pm
DJ KG:

yeah, dan's show is great! and it's so nice to have bethany back on the schedule.
  8:36pm
T-Zero:

Now if I could just get used to the new schedule... I keep sleeping through a lot of my favorite programs now...
  8:50pm
T-Zero:

I've always liked Prokofiev's violin pieces, and these last two sets... Wow! ... love string quartets, especially violins and violas.
  8:51pm
DJ KG:

string quartets are scary sublime!
  8:56pm
T-Zero:

Heh, if it hadn't been for the change in instrumentation I wouldn't have noticed that segue from Feldman to Wolff. That was some smooth DJing.
  8:58pm
DJ KG:

thanks!
  8:59pm
T-Zero:

Nice selections tonight, KG. Definitely peaks my interest in you doing a classical segment... Have a good week.
  10:35am
Marie:

Great show. Loved the John Cage piece especially. Tx. Kt.!
