Listener comments!

  12:20am
dave:

hey, i'm guessing SOMEBODY ELSE was at last night's yo la tengo show!
"little honda" was completely insane, and tara key was incredible.
  12:23am
DJKurtG:

happy boxing day, therese!
  12:30am
dave:

there was a bit during the thermonuclear freakout in the middle of "little honda" where james actually appeared to be playing an AMPLIFIER, pounding on it to rattle the reverb and shaking the whole cabinet around. even as a yo la tengo noisefest goes, that was on a whole other level.
  12:30am
Therese:

Little Honda was BANANAS, Dave. YLT gave us all a gift.

Happy Boxing Day to YOU, Kurt!
  12:54am
Julie:

Therese! Happy end of Christmas :)
  12:55am
Therese:

The same to you, Julie!
  12:57am
Julie:

Happy Boxing day, Kurt!
  1:05am
Jack:

For the sake of science, I am listening via three methods. You speak first on the radio, then on iTunes, then on the app. Am shutting off two of these before I go mad and/or incur copyright infringement claims from "Seven Second Delay."
  1:10am
Julie:

And I've been waiting for planes at Grand Central!
  1:18am
Therese:

Jack, I appreciate your commitment to science!!! Which method remains?
  1:22am
Jack:

Thank you, Therese! Since i am remaining on the computer, i have chosen iTunes in an effort to conserve electricity. Also, I am wearing a lab coat.
  1:24am
Therese:

I would expect nothing less!
  1:25am
musikoffstein:

what's all this then?
  1:28am
Therese:

Hello to you, Mr. M!
  1:34am
musikoffstein:

Saw Scratch during he Dubfest. He's on the sober tip, sill CRAY.
  2:09am
roger:

These last three songs have been awesome
  2:11am
Therese:

That Lindsey Buckingham song is far better than I expected it would be.
  2:24am
Jack:

Post-Mac, it seems like every decade or so Buckingham delivers a top-quality tune. This time, maybe he knew he'd get a LITTLE more attention because of that recurring SNL bit.
  2:27am
Therese:

This is everybit as good as Holiday Road. And Bill Hader's Buckingham is one of my favorite things about those SNL sketches.
  2:29am
Jack:

Yup, I love it every time Hader's Buckingham realizes he can't stay mad at the host.
  2:29am
Julie:

Bill Hader is the best thing about SNL period
  2:29am
musikoffstein:

...but he's Back In Mac, like Ac/DC.
  2:29am
roger:

Hopefully the zealous graphic designer who worked on Buckingham's album cover will be shown as much mercy as Lindsay does to Kenan Thompson
  2:32am
Therese:

Ha! Is that your holiday wish, Roger? Peace on Earth, good will to graphic designers who don't know when to leave well enough alone?
  2:33am
roger:

Is that too much to ask on Boxing Day?
  2:34am
Jack:

Musikoffstein is correct. Let's refer to the era as Mac Classic then, with no apologies to the late Mr. Jobs.
  2:35am
Therese:

Remember how Vito Corleone couldn't refuse any requests made on Connie's wedding day? Boxing Day is like that for graphic designers.
  2:39am
roger:

Unless they used comic sans. That is unforgivable 365 days a year
  2:39am
Chop Scott:

Therese!
Super Holiday wishes to you, I'm always listening...Cheers!!!
  2:43am
Therese:

Yes, the Comic Sans Clause is duly noted.

Hi Chop Scott! Glad you're out there.
  2:47am
Julie:

Cosmic Santa Clause? Huh? What?
  2:47am
Therese:

Yes, starring Tim Allen.
  2:48am
Julie:

Tim Allen, wearing his buzz lightyear costume as well
  2:56am
Julie:

SR is one of those bands people tell me I am supposed to like that I don't really know.
  2:59am
T-Zero:

I've never been able to make up my mind about them. I only have one of their albums. I don't dislike them, but the album I have I seldom listen to.
  3:00am
Julie:

Merry (late) Christmas T-Zero :)
  3:02am
T-Zero:

Heh. To you and all as well, Julie. I've been listening, but was preoccupied with tweaking a database to comment.
