  Sun. 12/25/11 10:13pm Mike East:

Merry Holiday, everyone, btw!
  Sun. 12/25/11 10:13pm PB:

How many different versions of this song by Spacemen 3 are there? This is at least the 3rd that I've heard. Great track in all 3 versions though.
  Sun. 12/25/11 10:16pm D. Blumin:

Forged Prescriptions, Mike! Yes, PB, they are like mushrooms after the rain - popping up all over the place - this album alone has 2.
  Sun. 12/25/11 10:20pm Mike East:

Ah cool! Looks like a special reissue of Perfect Prescription, which I have. Very cool. I will keep my eye out for it at my local record store. Cheers!
  Sun. 12/25/11 10:22pm D. Blumin:

It's from 2003, Mike, so you might have to order the sucka. Or have someone order it in case someone forgot to get you sumfin!
  Sun. 12/25/11 10:26pm Mike East:

True! Always looking through the used CD stacks, though, which is where I find most of my gold. I'm sure that's where I got most of my Spacemen 3 as well as my Spiritualized. Why anyone would give such treasures up, I'll never know, but I can't complain.
  Sun. 12/25/11 10:27pm jw:

Happy merry etc etc mr Blumin. Nothing better to unwind to this evening...
  Sun. 12/25/11 10:30pm D. Blumin:

Thanks, JW. Backatcha! What you unwinding from? The holiday dinner?
  Sun. 12/25/11 10:32pm D. Blumin:

Mike, I came across a whole slew of cd's in the lobby of a friend's building - might be playing something from one tonight. Methinks they digitize - we scavenge!
  Sun. 12/25/11 10:38pm jw:

Just the stress of general family time. Holidays, amirite?
  Sun. 12/25/11 10:41pm T-Zero:

This COH (Pavlov/)Gothard is great!
  Sun. 12/25/11 10:42pm D. Blumin:

Looks like you're alone on that one, JW, unless everyone is so unwound they cannae type!
  Sun. 12/25/11 10:42pm T-Zero:

whoops, misplaced ) there in my excitement...
  Sun. 12/25/11 10:44pm T-Zero:

heh, that's it... must be too unwound... It has been a stress free day
  Sun. 12/25/11 10:47pm D. Blumin:

You can never be TOO unwound, Sire! Unwind further! It's Christmas!

  Sun. 12/25/11 10:58pm T-Zero:

The Mortimer Trap is a chess strategy used to trap the opponent...
  Sun. 12/25/11 11:01pm D. Blumin:

Whatever you do, do not go for the black pawn, T-Zero! It's a trap, I tell ya!
  Sun. 12/25/11 11:03pm T-Zero:

  Sun. 12/25/11 11:35pm T-Zero:

When was this (Next to Nothing) recorded?
  Sun. 12/25/11 11:36pm D. Blumin:

  Sun. 12/25/11 11:40pm D. Blumin:

make that '94/95
  Sun. 12/25/11 11:41pm T-Zero:

I was wondering if it was around the time of WW II. Not the recording but what he was writing about as Wiki said the poem is from a collection covering 1926–1977

I'd never heard of him until hearing play here. I need to check out his poetry more...
  Sun. 12/25/11 11:44pm D. Blumin:

You might've read/seen Sheltering Sky too... That was my introduction...
  Sun. 12/25/11 11:48pm T-Zero:

hmmm... maybe... That sounds familiar (the film), but I can't recall if I ever saw it or not... I'm bad with recall like that... Need to see something begin to spark the memory...
  Sun. 12/25/11 11:49pm T-Zero:

I know I haven't read the book...
  Sun. 12/25/11 11:53pm T-Zero:

This has been an excellent program tonight. Was listening to Monica before you and both have hit it out of the park...
  Sun. 12/25/11 11:54pm Ike:

Dang, I missed the first 2 hrs. and 50 min.! Ah, X-Mess. Uncle locked himself out of his van... w/engine running! Har har.

Hiya, Ike!
  Sun. 12/25/11 11:56pm T-Zero:

I'd laugh, except I've done that before... it sucks... Hope your day was enjoyable otherwise, Ike
  Sun. 12/25/11 11:58pm T-Zero:

You're welcome. Was a quiet day for me. Family all live out of state and mom visited here last week, so was just me today...
  Sun. 12/25/11 11:58pm Clay:

Hey Daniel Blumin! You rock, bro. Merriest to you and yours.
  Mon. 12/26/11 12:19am D. Blumin:
