Listener comments!

  3:07pm
northguineahills:

Was just listening to Herbie Mann yesterday (w/ Stereolab)
  3:09pm
BodegaMan:

I don't remember, was it on this show where I stated my absolute disdain for Jazz flute? I feel like I'm being targeted here.
  3:15pm
A listener:

Sibelius quote: "[Musicians] talk of nothing but money and jobs. Give me businessmen every time. They really are interested in music and art. --Jean Sibelius, explaining why he rarely invited musicians to his home." - quoted in WFMU's LCD no. 27 - http://www.wfmu.org/LCD/27/babbling2.html
  3:15pm
Bjorn:

What's next? Hanoi Rocks????
  3:16pm
still b/p:

If you hold your pinkie tips so they meet in a straight line just in front of the image, and blink very fast, you can see it says "Bodega Man"..but it's a coincidence.
  3:17pm
Julie:

If I could read, I would say comments board & playlist both cool
  3:17pm
Einojuhani:

I've been over on Bryce's comments thinking, this sounds nothing like Xennakis? I haven't looked at a clock in a while. Time flies when your busy. Glad to be on the same page as everyone again.
  3:25pm
hamburger:

any chance of an encore of that 'make a series of photographs of chance encountered people sharing a set of headphones listening to music one of the earpieces in one person's ear, the second in the other's'?

  5:29pm
Ben Drinken:

has anyone seen a glimpse of the winter schedule? I used to love Billy Jam on Friday afternoons but now that Kurt has been on I like it. But I do miss Billy Jam. It seems to me that if Billy Jam does not come back to this slot Kurt has made his mark for the Friday afternoon slot. Feels right.
  5:30pm
Mike East:

@Ben - I was just thinking the other day that I miss Billy Jam. I hope he shows up somewhere on the schedule sometime soon.
  5:30pm
hopey:

This one goes to 11.11.11
  5:30pm
Carlo:

* bash * bash * stan's my fav so far * kurt, you sticky cigarette ashtray
!
  5:32pm
Ben Drinken:

I also heard that Jeff Sarge may be coming back on Sundays. I really like Lamin but Sundays have not been the same with no Jeff Sarge.
  5:33pm
Ben Drinken:

but Fridays will always be great if Kurt stays on instead of Billy Jam. But if Billy Jam does come back Kurt needs to stay on the air in another slot for sure.
  5:35pm
glenn:

if you ignore the intentionally stupid lyrics, the spinal tap songs are really pretty good.
  5:38pm
Siriusly:

Cool hearing Diamanda Galas
  5:39pm
Julie:

Billy & KG both great guys
  5:40pm
Siriusly:

I think I used to frighten my friends when I played Diamanda
  5:42pm
cb:

Nobody noooo
  5:42pm
Ben Drinken:

even if KG was in a scandal involving sodomizing 10 year old orangutans in his shower I would still like him. But not if it was human 10 year olds.
  5:43pm
glenn:

inside voice, ben. inside voice.
  5:43pm
Tim Serpas:

Am I the only one having trouble streaming today?
  5:43pm
Julie:

Diamanda is frightening
  5:45pm
glenn:

will the julie, fabio and clay hour become reality on the new schedule?
  5:49pm
Carlo:

...considering to tattoo WFMU on my chest :-)
  5:55pm
Ben Drinken:

Carlo, I do not have any tattoos and am almost over the hill. People ask me if I have any tattoos and I tell them I am a rebel and do not have any. but that is a joke only if you think if rebellious types get tattoos. because it seems everyone gets tattooed these days.
  5:56pm
Julie:

We the uninked are the minority
  5:57pm
Ben Drinken:

the uninked are the true rebels.
  5:58pm
glenn:

no tattoos for this kid, neither.
  5:58pm
Ben Drinken:

along with those of us who should be riding Harleys but don't
  5:59pm
Julie:

Be proud, display your uninked flesh!
  6:00pm
Julie:

thank you KG!!
  6:00pm
Carlo:
