@DJ: DJ, I think you should have a "coolest Listener Commenter" election, and I would like to cast my vote for Marmalade Kitty, with Richard From Venezuela as Vice-Pres. (Don't know Marmalade from Eve; and this endorsement is not borne from graft or fraud!) That is all I have to say. I am not seeking office at this time.

It's kind of childish at age 33, but my favourite comfort is being high and listening to this show with a bowl of ramen.

@dave, my earlies exposure also included Joe Frank, a tape I made of it wore down from the repeated plays -- and I was never able to find that show in his archives

|
Mon. 11/7/11 11:08pm
3D-Nyc:
Fasinating- I recorded a number of early "in the dark" -Joe Frank monologues (true monologues), on "the new" TDK 90 minute tapes.(gasp!)- Most worn out, loaned out, or lost during moving a few times. I see alot are on the web archives, and was not able to find a few (the most compelling ones of course :-)
|
Mon. 11/7/11 11:10pm
dave:
aaaaand, it's a measure of the stygian depth of my vanity that i went back to find that the air supply song in question was not "all out of love" but, in fact, "the one that you love". so that's those two songs stuck in my head, then.
