October 9, 2011: Legally changing my name to my name: Live music from Frank Bango!
Mary Wing welcomes Frank Bango as her first guest to the 100% Whatever program! The singer/songwriter/record label owner stops by the WFMU studios to play songs from his four albums and talk about his forthcoming album “Touchy/Feely,” which was successfully funded through a Kickstarter campaign last month. With “Touchy/Feely,” he aims to create a sonic landscape where the Shangri Las meet Tom Waits; combining the purest form of melodic pop with a dark edge to its lyrics. Tune in and hear what Frank himself calls “some of the best and most original pop music that almost no one has ever heard.”
