  9:11pm
Martha:

Hello All!
  9:14pm
dave:

those omar souleyman and good stuff house tracks are at opposite extremes of some spectrum, and only on wfmu could they be successfully deployed as the first two songs of a show.
  9:15pm
Martha:

Thanks - that is a high compliment -
  9:16pm
Tom ( The Bactrian Support Network ):

The Stinky Whistler:

Where can I get that DJ Female Convict Scorpion track? I really liked that.
  9:36pm
Martha:

It's on this self-released CD (like much of his stuff) - I honestly don't know where to get it, it came in here a coupla weeks ago I think - if you like that you should check out the rest of DJFS 'ouvre' - great stuff out of San Francisco, I believe -
  9:36pm
Martha:

Thanks Tom - feel better -
  9:38pm
dave:

aquarius records has the DJ FCS INRI cd-r.
  9:42pm
Martha:

Thanks Dave -
  9:45pm
Rory:

Good show so far.
  9:46pm
The Stinky Whistler:

I'm assuming aquarius records is some type of record store in some metropolitan type area? I'm out in the woods, If it's not online, it'll be hard for me to get my hands on. Thanks for playing it, though!
  9:46pm
dave:

no problem! of course, for any good record it's usually safe to say "yeah, aquarius probably has that".
  9:47pm
The Stinky Whistler:

Oh, hahaha, a quick google search for aquarius records later...
  9:48pm
dave:

ah, sorry: aquariusrecords.org.

your credit card company can thank me later, they'll be making bank on that URL.
  9:50pm
Tom ( The Bactrian Support Network ):

I feel better now Martha just a false alarm... ty I love your show and always surprises !
  9:54pm
dave:

good god, the google suggestions that pop up when you type "black vomit" are predictably horrifying.
  9:55pm
Tom ( The Bactrian Support Network ):

Martha >:D< hey hey hey it's all good !
  9:56pm
dave:

i need a safe search setting that means "I JUST WANT THE BAND, NOT THE NIGHTMARISH MEDICAL CONDITIONS, OK?"
  9:57pm
Tom ( The Bactrian Support Network ):

forgive me and all the Hugz just makes me feel better and I hope you all too>>>
  10:22pm
Martha:

I searched for the band Plungers once - v. bad idea - and that was a while ago -
  10:23pm
dave:

in a world of weird concept albums, The MMs Bar Recordings sets a new bar. it's like the conet project from some hyper-mundane mirror universe.
  10:25pm
fleep:

I'd like to see a sequel of school lunch announcements
  10:35pm
Martha:

Yes! - agreed -
  10:46pm
PB:

These last couple of tracks conjured up that crazy Gaspar Noe drug movie, Enter the Void.
  10:50pm
Martha:

Never seen it, do tell (if you would like to, of course) -
  10:54pm
PB:

Flashbacks of an young American drug dealer and user killed by Japanese narcotics police in Tokyo. Crazy camera angles and shots, wild music. Drug of choice is the very difficult to find DMT. Reputed to be incredibly hallucinogenic but of very short duration.
  11:00pm
dave:

i love that lich king album far too much for something so jokey.
  11:02pm
Martha:

Thanks for the info re: the movie - I am so lazy w/ my movie watching the original Bad News Bears for like the 5th time - so thanks for suggestions, etc.
  11:03pm
Martha:

Yes - ridiculously STOOPID - but so excellent -
  11:05pm
PB:

Me too, the original BNBs with Walter Matthau and the remake with Blly Bob Thornton are quite different, but both are very funny.
  11:05pm
r i s k y:

Inspiring set martha! Wompin!
  11:11pm
Martha:

Thanks all -
  11:50pm
alberto:

this sounds broken...i love it!
  11:52pm
Martha:

That's the way it should sound...I think - thanks for checking in -
  11:56pm
Taylor:

My instinct tells there must be a track SOMEWHERE in the WFMU library called "Anhydrous Ammonia".
