I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

  Fri. 9/2/11 12:08pm Carmichael:

Bam! Hi Bryce.
Fri. 9/2/11 12:10pm Dead Corporate Eyes:

definitely some Tazartes floating around this week, even on my local college station
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:10pm stefica:

hi bryce!
so, the other day, i was listening to one of your shows on archive. the internet hiccuped and kicked me off. i continued for ten minutes listening to office hum in the belief that i was listening to music on your program.
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:10pm βrian:

Why, it's in the air!
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:10pm MD:

HELLO FMU NATION!!!
Fri. 9/2/11 12:11pm Dead Corporate Eyes:

stefica, that happens during Bryce's show every week to me!
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:12pm stefica:

DCE~it's not a bad thing, though, right?
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:12pm Looms:

Hello all! Tazartès rules!
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:13pm MD:

Stefica.....That's great FMU story...!!!
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:14pm bryce:

I'M OFFENDED
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:17pm murph:

take me to the Tazartes office - its way cooler than mine
Fri. 9/2/11 12:17pm Dead Corporate Eyes:

let's just say that the unattentive MAY miss portions of the show
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:19pm Hugo:

Dead air is not really dead ...
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:20pm stefica:

exactly, hugo, and bryce has taught us that. or was that cage?
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:21pm hubba:

I thought someone was standing behind me... dear lord... why i usually keep one ear bud off... but, then i miss out on the immersion... heart is still racing...
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:21pm bryce:

the real lesson here is that employment is undesirable
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:21pm bryce:

unless it buzzes or clicks good
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:22pm stefica:

employment is undesirable unless it can take place at home with cats.
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:23pm Looms:

Hum... Who said "Bite the hand that feeds most"?
Fri. 9/2/11 12:24pm Dead Corporate Eyes:

every Wednesday morning there's a street cleaner that runs in our parking garage--world's loudest drone machine, right there
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:24pm Dead Air:

I'm just resting. Really. I'll be up in a few minutes.
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:26pm Hugo:

Employment is getting something for nothing ...
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:27pm hubba:

yeah, I'm just trying to do my part so my partner can get an art degree and my daughter doesn't become a zombie... I'm pursuing a master's and trying to sleep as little as possible to make life a bit mroe challenging... employment is just one of many mechanisms... having FMU as a reliable opiate is what makes my day bearable at times
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:36pm Air:

Rumors of my death are greatly exaggerated.
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:36pm annie:

only one more hour for bryce-ness.. then i have to go to work and the world of the dull repetitive ipod playlist
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:38pm βrian:

No holidays, Annie.
Fri. 9/2/11 12:39pm Dull Corporate Ipod Playlist:

Today, annie. Tomorrow, THE WORLD!

  Fri. 9/2/11 12:39pm bryce:

  Fri. 9/2/11 12:42pm annie:

any of you crazy people traveling up to see the devastation of the catskills, bela fleck is at bellayre for a benefit saturday night
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:43pm stefica:

well, uncle bryce, if you'd help us with our grant proposals so we could stay home and tend to our Important Projects, we wouldn't have to get jobs that are beneath our dignity.
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:43pm hubba:

I'm employable because I have glasses and smell like fresh produce...
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:45pm Hugo:

Cats don't worry about employment. At least, mine doesn't.
Fri. 9/2/11 12:46pm Winnie the Pooh:

All Important Projects have to be approved by the Floor Manager, then we have Honey
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:47pm Hugo:

It has always struck me that those who say it's easy to find jobs are those who have jobs.
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:47pm Cats:

U kant fire uz, we r 2 cyute, LOLz

Can i haz dead err, plz?
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:48pm Winnie Cooper:

  Fri. 9/2/11 12:49pm bryce:

this is an outrage. the world over, there are no more qualified or deserving layabouts to be found than right here. yet our most valuable entropy is being farmed out once again.

  Fri. 9/2/11 12:49pm nic:

crazy cool
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:50pm Durian:

I smell like fresh produce, too! (But I have few friends.)
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:50pm Carmichael:

I'm employed because the pickle farm needed a gherkin jerker.
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:51pm obviously,:

not enough listeners are wearing their swag to interviews.
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:51pm Barry:

Have a little patience, people. We are trying our very hardest to level the playing field by redistributing unemployment throughout the economy.
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:51pm Doc Brown:

Marty!
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:51pm Barry:

Spreadin' the sloth around! w00t!!!!
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:52pm Cheri Pi:

@stefica-I once clicked on a chinese menu online and was switched over to the menu's music. I survived 2 hours of the that horrible loop thinking that Bryce was playing a very ballsy piece for radio.
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:54pm Marty:

I've gotta go back Doc, to stop Michael Gross from ruining his career...
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:57pm annie:

crap, i have to leave early to cut the cheese.. manouri, that is, though... yum and double yum.. delicious greek sheep cheese. ..
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:59pm Henry Winkler:

Don't feed them after midnight and try not to put water on them... now, hurry, get out of my shop before my mama sees you and throws me off the train again.
  Fri. 9/2/11 12:59pm annie:

bryce, i'll think of this music (?) while i endure the humdrum thrum of the ipod
  Fri. 9/2/11 1:01pm bryce:

don't worry, i'll be thinking of rolling manouri in toasted sesame seeds....
  Fri. 9/2/11 1:01pm Marco Polo:

I'm right here, I've always been here, now join us, we'll dance and sing till we cry and laugh
  Fri. 9/2/11 1:03pm Bathwater:

don't look at me
  Fri. 9/2/11 1:03pm βrian:

C'est une mouette.
  Fri. 9/2/11 1:04pm Ike:

Oh great, Cheri Pi, now Bryce is going to find some terrible Chinese restaurant website music and play it repeatedly.

Oh no wait, that's Kenny G.'s M.O. Never mind.
  Fri. 9/2/11 1:04pm stefica:

@cheri pi, you are probably making that up, but i like it anyway.
  Fri. 9/2/11 1:06pm Red Balloon:

I hope everyone washed their hands... okay, be gentle... oh thank you, that feels nice
  Fri. 9/2/11 1:18pm Looms:

  Fri. 9/2/11 1:25pm bruceleh:

The chorus sounds like part of Eskimo
  Fri. 9/2/11 1:27pm bryce:

  Fri. 9/2/11 1:32pm Ricky Perry:

Me likey!
  Fri. 9/2/11 1:32pm bruceleh:

I saw Misha Mengleberg @ the Stone, and a he played something that sounded just like "The Laughing Song," After the show I asked him about it and he looked at me like I was from another planet. One of his accolytes (prolly a former student?), said, "Oh, he doesn't know anything about stuff like that."
  Fri. 9/2/11 1:37pm Looms:

"Accused, stand up!"
"Sit!" "Stand up!'
Hey! Not so fast!
  Fri. 9/2/11 1:38pm bryce:

hahahaaaaa! excellent
Fri. 9/2/11 1:40pm Dead Corporate Eyes:

Bryce: if you're going to listen to music in foreign languages you should show some initiative and spend a few years studying those languages first.
  Fri. 9/2/11 1:41pm bryce:

it's like with tom zé, to choose a random example — the music alone is so wonderful, it's more than enough to make me stoopid happy. yet, i know i'm missing a whole parallel dimension of brilliance
Fri. 9/2/11 1:42pm Dead Corporate Eyes:

(saw that edit coming a mile away)
  Fri. 9/2/11 1:43pm Looms:

Oh, you DON'T miss the "whole" parallel dimension. 80% of GT vocals are influenced by "baby mumbling" (he says).

OK, right now, you're missing it.
  Fri. 9/2/11 1:43pm bryce:

don't blow my cover, dce, i don't want to end up like william colby
  Fri. 9/2/11 1:44pm Cy Twombly:

Me Likey!
Fri. 9/2/11 1:45pm Dead Corporate Eyes:

"died from drowning or hypothermia after collapsing from a heart attack or stroke and falling out of his canoe. " meh...doesn't sound so bad to me!
  Fri. 9/2/11 1:52pm bryce:

  Fri. 9/2/11 1:52pm stefica:

@cheri pi, i'd make a smiley emoticon, but i don't do emoticons.
  Fri. 9/2/11 1:54pm Emoticons:

what's it gonna take, stef?
  Fri. 9/2/11 1:54pm Ike:

I gave in to the iron fist of the emoticon. Otherwise people may get offended when I'm type all kinds of jokey insolent crap that should never, ever be taken seriously.
  Fri. 9/2/11 1:55pm stefica:

pouty emoticon....
  Fri. 9/2/11 1:55pm Emoticons:

come on, baby, loosen up
  Fri. 9/2/11 1:56pm powiva:

  Fri. 9/2/11 1:57pm Carmichael:

Mic breaks in French, please, Bryce.
  Fri. 9/2/11 1:58pm Ike:

I am getting really tired of all the inanimate objects and dead people posting here. Fuck off, all y'all. (And I'm serious this time, so no emoticon.) Srsly. Get fucked.
  Fri. 9/2/11 1:58pm stefica:

  Fri. 9/2/11 2:08pm Inanimate Objects:

You'll have to give Ike a pass. He can't help being bossy. It's how he suggests the idea of his superiority. :-) Srsly. :-)
  Fri. 9/2/11 2:09pm bruceleh:

My brain finally dug it up, it's not from Eskimo, but a Bollywood tune
  Fri. 9/2/11 2:10pm Durian:

Somebody always has to raise a stink.
  Fri. 9/2/11 2:10pm Marmalade Kitty:

  Fri. 9/2/11 2:23pm Inanimate Objects:

It must be true, since you need to state it so baldly, Ikeypoo. Here are some nice emoticons for you as a makeup gift -- all is forgiven. :-) :-) :-)
