Yeah the original WM was tremendous! Then you read the book and you find out they toned down the scene where the local gal tempts him to lose his virginity... it was his only avenue out... and so it goes in the wild Wiccan world, with Christopher Lee in fine style as the wacko head honcho

IF you want to READ some "steampunk", I can recommend "The Difference Engine". Check out some reviews to get the idea. It's pretty cool.

@Brick: "Steampunk" is a whole, broad school of art: from those sci fi novels/graphic novels where Victorians build futuristic machines (on then-dominant "steam" power), to the self-described "Goth" and "Old World" sounds of music, as well as dress and fashion (nice pic!)

FWIW... "The Difference Engine" is a totally plausible alt-history where Babbage got funding and the machine was picked up by the Victorian gov't and turned into an instrument of oppression. Oh and Lady Ada is a doper and the machine... well.. let's not give away everything :)
