Lady Bird Johnson was the nickname of first lady of the US from 1963-69. The Sinatra/Hazelton song was put out during that time. It's up to your interpretation if there's a connection.

Someone (probably a Brit) joked that it's weird to them that if Americans don't figure out a bunch of math problems once a year, they end up in jail. :) Not all "big gov" is alike and there are always improvements needed....
