Richard from Venezuela:

I didn't knew the existence of Ives. Great song.
  9:32pm
Martha:

Glad yr enjoying it -
  9:58pm
Droll:

someone played the Thai Sabbath last night -- that rocks
  9:59pm
dave:

said it last night, and it bears repeating: Sroeng Santi found the funk no one knew was buried in Iron Man.
  10:00pm
Martha:

Totally agree -
  10:06pm
Droll:

Dave, yes, thanks again. That disc is apparently full of unexpected treats. hope to hear more.
  10:13pm
Martha:

I tried hard to play something else of that comp besides the Iron Man interpretation but I am afraid I was too weak - lots of other good stuff on it -
  10:19pm
Rob S:

Awesome show tonight. The Bridget Hayden blew me away.
  10:23pm
Martha:

  11:12pm
ken:

artificial peace were a darn fun / good band. definitely a solid part of the dc scene. if you can find it, i highly recommend the compilation Bouncing Babies on Fountain of Youth records. ...... and of course don't forget the greatest band from that area, 1/2 japanese --- this could even be a request...... great show !!!!!
  11:14pm
Martha:

Hey Ken - thanks for checking and the recommendations - ans also the good words. You think you know something about a scene and then it turns out you are actually totally ignorant - but that is one of the best things about being here at 'FMU - both the staff and the listeners - will def. look for that comp -

About DC scene. I found a record on free music archive, so good: Kingface: live at Washington DC's 9:30 Club, 1988
