A viking ship appears on the horizon, a likeness of Loretta Lynn carved into its bow. Rare birds flock together to sing Francoise Hardy as soul hits. A sunset of blips and bleeps fills the air.

fmu on a daily basis is best return on investment. it's value doesn't diminish based on what's going on in libya. in fact it's even more valuable when the world seems to be going south.
Tue. 3/15/11 9:45am Lord Of The Manor:

Dear Trouble, The hoof and mouth sinfonia was great this year. I was hoping for another rendition of "Tainted Love."
  Tue. 3/15/11 9:46am pierre:

@ Jennique aka dj love bug : i'm sorry to be the annoying control freak : but "chanson" is feminin genre in french.

More high tech than pencils, I guess Mr. Fancy Pants!

@ βrian : "Avec culottes" means with panties, is that what you meant ?
  Tue. 3/15/11 10:52am Parq:

I dunno if the remaining 2 of the Fab 4 will "live forever". Keith Richards, sure, but ...
  Tue. 3/15/11 10:55am βrian:

Miss T, is that Weehawken painting your own work?
Tue. 3/15/11 11:30am Adrian in London:

Come on Stu, get translating! I understood 'uksi'.
Tue. 3/15/11 11:32am Adrian in London:

Or 'yksi', even. I went to Finland a couple of times years ago and enjoyed it. But the only thing I can remember from the phrase book is olen raskaana, which I'm told means 'I am a pregnant woman'. Not much good to an 18-year-old chap.
Tue. 3/15/11 11:34am Stu : aka DJ Moomin:

I'm going to have to listen again to the archive to work through that! ( and get my kids to help...they're bi lingual, I'm....slow )
kiittos
Tue. 3/15/11 11:38am Stu : aka DJ Moomin:

no parq it is by john marin from 1910-16
  Tue. 3/15/11 11:46am Jennique - a.k.a. dj love bug:

  Tue. 3/15/11 11:46am ?:

although I am no longer physically in the same time zone, seems we are in sync contrary to what I said previously. xo Nina B
Tue. 3/15/11 11:47am Lord Of The Manor:

Of all the things I have lost, I miss my mind the most.
Tue. 3/15/11 11:47am Adrian in London:
