  6:41pm D.B.:

Is that version of Born to be Wild on the premium the one by Fanfare Ciocarlia?
  6:43pm D.B.:

I guess this answers my question :)
  6:43pm Your DJ:

  6:43pm Richard from Venezuela:

Just checking in. Greetings to rob and irene.
  6:51pm D.B.:

Huun-Huur-Tu, eh? I'll throw my hat into the ring for that!
  7:06pm D.B.:

What was that song playing in the background, the one with the steel drums? It sounded great!
  7:09pm Dan Unger:

KTRU in Houston. Wonderful station, acquired by KUHF. KUHF had once been a jazz/NPR station that turned classical/NPR back in the 80s wwhen a local commercial classical station folded and gave their whole record library to KUHF. A somewhat complicated affair to be sure.
  7:10pm Ike:

Rob: Some NPR-affiliated groups are going after *3* frequencies! News/talk and classical on the first 2, then either a second news/talk stream (maybe aimed at a "younger demographic" like Vocalo from WBEZ on a station that FMU couldn't afford to keep, outside Chicago) or an AAA/indie stream (MPR's The Current in MN, which actually isn't bad). In Rochester, a station has 3, but one's AM, like w/WNYC.
  7:16pm Dan Unger:

I apologize for not being very computer literate. I mouse of todayed on Terre T's show and intended to spread the love to you and a few of the other incredible DJs at WFMU but gave it all to her--which is okay too. Just wanted you to know that the two of you back-to-back make for a terrific Saturday afternoon out here on the left coast.
  7:19pm Richard from Venezuela:

This Baaba Maal's song is very good.
  7:23pm Mitten John:
