Options Brian Turner: Playlist from February 22, 2011 Options

Order and disorder in a freeform haze of terribly-played guitars, shorted-out electronics, found audio detritus, strange sounds from strange lands all around. Psych-punk-junk, collage, even pop. Lots of in-studio live performances to boot.

Show went good, our set was fairly quiet and mine and Therea's gear decided not to work properly, so it was a bit different than we normally are, but we figured out something. The band before us, Grand Selector was awesome x1000...thanks again!!!
  Tue. 2/22/11 3:21pm Billy Jam:

An Iron Man quote into some Thai fuzz boom-bap? Ridiculously good, thanks for playing!
  Tue. 2/22/11 3:45pm marq:

i love anything Thai. one of the most pleasing languages to listen to, i think. and so many cool artists who do some really interesting things.
  Tue. 2/22/11 3:45pm john:

  Tue. 2/22/11 3:46pm Grib narg:

"lived through defectation" ???
  Tue. 2/22/11 3:46pm john:

  Tue. 2/22/11 3:48pm Cecile:

  Tue. 2/22/11 5:35pm BT:

It was a 7" we actually sold in our WFMU catalogue in the late 90s I believe....but it's long gone/ Pretty cool artifact, I was surprised they didn't showcase those recordings more in the Ochs biodoc.
