"woman of my dreams but I don't sleep so I can't find her" - lil wayne
  Tue. 2/22/11 12:48am Yair Yona:

in an interview they gave in one of the Israeli news sites, they said they just need a break so they are taking a time off. no one talks about an official break up, but it's one of those 'we gotta have some air' situations.
coool Copeland track, btw.

Morning, Woody.
  Tue. 2/22/11 12:50am Woody:

Don't think I've heard the Acid Birds LP... I'm friends with Jaime the harmonium/electronics guy in the project, so have seen them a couple times...
  Tue. 2/22/11 1:19am Sljk:

  Tue. 2/22/11 1:33am Woody:

Think that was a couple weeks ago, and wasn't able to make it.

They don't all live here in NYC, so I think they seem to play out like once a year or so...
  Tue. 2/22/11 1:42am Sljk:

  Tue. 2/22/11 2:04am Julie:

Wow I thought this was Prince again
  Tue. 2/22/11 2:04am Woody:

He is quite prolific....50% of WFMU is Prince...
  Tue. 2/22/11 2:09am Julie:

You sure it's 50 percent? He doesn't take up much space.
  Tue. 2/22/11 2:12am lauren:

re: lisa miller, little stevie wonder signed to motown when he was 11.
  Tue. 2/22/11 2:12am Woody:

Well, the library is more like 20% Prince.... all those bands are basically variations of Apollonia 6.

I've never seen Apollonia 6 and Monotonix in the same room.... just saying.
  Tue. 2/22/11 2:13am Woody:

I think ol' MJ was even younger.... just saying the Lisa Miller is the "best psychedelic pop LP recorded by an 11-year-old former Motown star ever! " (taken from the Sundazed site)
:)
  Tue. 2/22/11 2:16am Nazerbean:

Holla from Wisconsin!
  Tue. 2/22/11 2:18am Woody:

Nazerbean, hope you're not a state employee!
  Tue. 2/22/11 2:41am Nazerbean:

Thankfully not... I wouldn't be able to make a donation to WFMU!
  Tue. 2/22/11 2:43am Julie:

wasn't John Fahey Lawnmower Man?
