  1:56pm
Chris from DC:

Cecille, they've got Victor Griffin in the band, so it doesn't get much doomier.
  1:57pm
Cecile:

Nice. I like the doom at times.
  1:58pm
DJ KG:

HA! i'll tell you one thing about them cecile - it was a typo. i'ts "place of skulls"
  2:00pm
Cecile:

That makes a lot more sense. I was wondering what a plade was, some kind of medieval shovel?

Handsome Harry:

Grey Daturas are making my afternoon. Huzzah for Miniature Minotaurs!
  2:14pm
BT:

Grey Daturas offshoot Whitehorse playing WFMU's SXSW show 3/18 at Barbarella.

  2:48pm
Cheri Pi:

THeir live show was "difficult:" to stand through, I didn't know what to do with my hands.
  2:50pm
DJ KG:

hey cheri!

did i tell this story before? i saw them once in a hockey arena in quebec (at the victoriaville festival). spent the concert walking circles around the room. it was great.
  2:51pm
Cecile:

I fell asleep and then my friend and I left early. They played one note for 3 hours. After hour 2, we left.

I know. I'm a wimp.
  2:52pm
DJ KG:

but that note KICKED ASS!
  2:53pm
Cecile:

I wish I would have walked around, except we were in the Walker Art Museum's auditorium, aka, the set from the Scorpions' Rock Me like a Hurricane.

I hate that place.
  2:56pm
37:

i was at the same show as our esteemed dj
i stood in one place and shivered mostly
  2:56pm
Cecile:

it's got negative feng shui. I am a peaceful person, and I want to hit people after being there. There are hallways to nowhere and pointy corners every where.
  2:56pm
Cheri Pi:

Yes DJ KG I remember that story! My friend lasted about 30 minutes before I received a text that he was "DUNNO," but we're all big fans.
  2:57pm
Cheri Pi:

Pacing would have worked for me, except they made so much smoke it was impossible to see.
  2:57pm
37:

having to keep this very low in my office
