Ever heard of Gareth Dickson? Found some interesting guitar pieces on 'The Dance' - this made me just think of it ...in a way...

It veers toward Windham Hillishness but seems a tad more interesting.

what a beautiful guitar song.

Dan B:
This is by far one of the most accessible pieces by Steffen Basho-Junghans, who usually explores all kinds of alternate sounds that the guitar can create in long, arrhythmic improvisations. Which are also gorgeous...but I think this one's a tribute to his inspiration Robbie Basho and Basho's East-meets-West ragas.

Rick @ Rachel: a couple of years ago, I saw Gareth accompany Vashtee Bunyan in a rare NYC performance, wonderful. My sister thinks his solo stuff is like Nick Drake (in a good way!)

I love the distortions inherent to the fringes of an fm radio signal. Its were I live and tracks like this are like artwork for my radio and home.

great show today. melodi melodika is originally a Tv Resistori - also a Fonal band. the original song is a happier/dancier/poppier version. Isalaja did a brilliant job but do check the original 2004 version
