regular microphone..back in the day used to hot glue phono cartidgge so needle would touch TV speaker before TVs had audio jacks . quality was unbelievable from tv sardine can speakers, mono of course | |

Yea ripped out of an old realistic TT not much to it passive analog like a mic, power cords are for spinning the platter, some had micro amps. I think we used phone wire to go from cartridge to TT hardware and into the phono input of a receiver ...make all kinds of weird noises by connecting it stuff that vibrates | |
