Favoriting Brian Turner: Playlist from January 18, 2011 Favoriting

Order and disorder in a freeform haze of terribly-played guitars, shorted-out electronics, found audio detritus, strange sounds from strange lands all around. Psych-punk-junk, collage, even pop. Lots of in-studio live performances to boot.

"Raver Nation"'s backbeat sounds just like a 12" Soft Cell backbeat; same synthed-out rhythm.

  3:15pm
Ryan M.:

Honest Jons puts out some serious tunes...that Baghdad break-up songs form the 1920's is still a topper.

My gf's friends in Mty, Mexio, rarely even go out any more. Everyone just goes to their friends' houses on the weekends, and chill, drink, listen to music. No more big parties or crazy club nights (there are exceptions, but it's not the same as it was 3 years ago).
  3:31pm
