Listener comments! | |

Adam:
Greetings, fellow night/dawn folk, and early Merry Christmas! Bill, I'm glad music this fantastic is here in Jesse's absence. How eerie is it that Beefheart's date of death falls just before Zappa's date of birth? If there is an afterlife, they should be reunited in song as of this weekend...and missed here for long, long into the future. RIP
|
Mon. 12/20/10 3:17am
coalhard:
thanks WFMU for playing "best of" last few days--was EXTRAORDINARY
|

Bill Mac:
Hey Adam, Saddened but enlightened and inspired this weekend by Beef's passing and Zappa's 70th anniversary. Catch Brian's thread on "The Booglarizer RIP" on the blog. A nice moment at the Beacon with Dweezil and the audience.

Jamesie:
I am listening and loving the show. Frank and Don saved me in my adolescence. Thanks for the programming choices, Bill. Dedicated to R Stevie Moore in these difficult times.
|
Mon. 12/20/10 4:10am
Bill Mac:
For sure. Stevie should warrant a special here. You could play his music for a day and still not be finished.
|
Mon. 12/20/10 4:12am
Jamesie:
Maybe you could put out some sort of appeal? I am mindful to be discreet here. Just a gentle suggestion?
|
Mon. 12/20/10 4:13am
Bill Mac:
That's the key.... I might just suggest that to the folks at the top here...
|
Mon. 12/20/10 4:14am

Bill Mac:
Great Eric.... Frank was a big part of my formative years. I know good part of his catalog but there are gaping holes, especially after Sheik Yerbouti. I'll uncover some gem some that period every so often
