afternoon all...wanted to mention i accepted a last minute invite to see Roger Waters do his Wall...visually stimulating, incredibly so...but reinforced my opinion of Roger as incredibly self-absorbed attention seeker...his conduct on stage actually made me laugh...would not recommend

It's daylight robbery Irene...the French get one extra hour of daylight than us in the UK; but their mornings take an extra hour to lighten up. Which means they have huge problems with dragons flying out of sooty chimney pots into dark skys gobbling up unsuspecting children on their way to school, as I've mentioned before.

The lyrics by Laetitia Sadier were quite strange; or should i say strange enough to get my attention?
|
Mon. 11/8/10 1:54pm
Carmichael:
I was not aware of Laetitia Sadier solo stuff. No wonder she sounded so familiar. Thanks, Irene!

David Gilmour:
Why couldn't Roger be a respectful (or at least non destructive) bandmate such that our magic could have continued in full force into the 80's, 90's and beyond?

Your show has maintained a fine, beautifully sustained timbre, Irene...nice that some things are not changing too dramatically.

cooking up spinach with cabbage, onions, garlic and Gargonzola cheese and listening to your show. A magical series of moments. Ah, a playlist otherworldly! Are you, Irene Trudel, the Blessed Mary? Do we have another Jersey City Virgin Mary appearance? Or was that Passaic. Bottom line, divinely inspired playlist. Groovy. Thanks.

Love the Sandy Denny on this gray day. I see in the latest Uncut magazine that a 19-CD Sandy Denny box has just been issued. Wow!

@ drewo -- i am just tuning in, my thoughts exactly! (and WOW is right! there are few who would actually justify 19 CDs; Ms. Denny is one of those rare and blessed souls) and ooooooo now Laura Nyro -- PERFECT! THANK YOU SO MUCH, Irene! :)
