@MARC, I don't think it's the FM signal, the internet seems to be static ridden as well. either that or i'm listening to a shortwave radio recording of a naval convoy from inside the engine room.

i think the sound is just fine. it was probably the hole in my skull enabling me to hear another dimension of sound normally curled up so tightly you can't detect it with normal instruments.

I rely on y'all for this kinda info, seriously. @Rick, I will promise to smash the Chronic cassette in the intact bag if you send it in -- I'm emailing my address separately. @Bryce, we are all Scientologists already, we just haven't discovered yet how much we owe them for our various inspirations and epiphanies.

@Maria, what if you submit them on a cheap-o data key and I smash that? Or burn them to CD? We'll have to ponder the dilemma of how to destroy the immaterial mp3...but I have faith that it is a problem with a solution and that we are the hive mind to come up with it!!
